Location was close to downtown Bar Harbor (a few minutes drive). Amenities were sufficient and the housekeeping staff left cute towel animals. Shower had hot water immediately which was nice after a long day of hiking. Value was good, too. Would recommend.

The location was perfect and right near town. It was nice to have parking right next to our room. We were very happy with the cleanliness, porch, fridge and daily staff visits. We slept very well and were able to access both Acadia and town easily. Would definitely stay again and worth the value!

The first room we stayed in (#52) is next to a utility room in which a machine runs off and on all the time. It sounds like some kind of a pump. It could be heard clearly through the wall...especially at night as it is located directly across the wall from where one's head would be while sleeping. The noise made sleeping difficult...because the machine would start and stop...and when it ran...it ran for hours. The staff moved us to another room and the problem was solved. My advice...ask not to be placed in Rm #52.

The rooms we stayed in (we stayed in two) were both very nice...pristine even. Very clean, very newly updated...each room had a mini fridge, microwave, tv and wifi...all of which performed seamlessly. The staff were VERY nice and accommodating.

On the night of our arrival, the weather was quite hot. No AC was available in our room, and there were no screens in the windows making our room unbearable to sleep in without opening the door until the room began to cool off. Spoke with the office representative next morning, and they apologized that in our room, and two other rooms didn't have window ACs or screens installed yet. The maintenance representative installed a screen into one of our windows for the next night.

We didn't have hot water at first (it was the beginning of the season) but staff attended to the problem right away & got it fixed.

Spacious, updated room with all the key amenities: fridge & microwave, table & chairs, closet & storage, comfortable bed. Walking distance to shops & restaurants & a short drive to the national park. Friendly helpful staff. We were really happy with our stay.

WiFi was not working. Also the room my sister and brother in law stayed in, the door was not working properly. First it wouldn't close properly, and the next day they couldn't open the door and had to yank it to be able to get out.

The grounds were beautiful, took a little walk around and even rested up in the hammock, this was very relaxing.

Cons: exterior lights are on a timer, not light sensitive. So when we left early, the lot was total dark and had to use flash lights. Bathroom could have used more light. One dim light between tub/toilet, would like LED light to brighten it up. No bathroom exhaust fan, but window did open for ventilation.

Great location. 10min drive Arcadia Park, 4 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor by auto. Nice sidewalks and walkable in 30 min, but cool and dark early in October. No breakfast, but the wifi works well, and local map at the office proved very helpful. Rooms are clean, and usb charging options. Our room had a luggage shelf, loved it. Ice machine worked well. Many pros All in all, would stay again.
