The property didn’t advertise a security deposit. booking.com says it’s the hotel's fault. The hotel says it’s booking.com's fault. I was forced to give $150 to the hotel for a bogus security deposit. Management told me that the security deposit money would be "checked" on my account and not taken. The money was taken. I was lied to and my money was stolen from my bank account. Don't ever go to this hotel. There is no disclosure with the contract signed through booking.com and this hotel said there is a security deposit. Due to this (the night of November 12th, 2023), I am stranded due to my AMTRAK having been at least 2 hours late and missed my bus to go home.

We changed credit cards before our check in at 11:18 am on 10/26 confirmation number 4123807588 and the incorrect card was swiped. The man desk attendant took my license and the updated card, bent down behind the desk as if to swipe it. We are about to declare our card stolen and the charge fraudulent as this is not the card that was given to the attendant at check in. The lady attendant during the day reached out to her manager but did not call us back when we asked her for assistance. She told us to call the hotel and ask for the manager on Monday morning

Everything else. I had a checkout time of 11:00am, but upon check-in, I asked if there was any way I could have a later checkout. The staff person helping me said, "We can give you 3:00pm". I was surprised, not needing that much time, but appreciated it just the same. The next morning at 10:25, there was banging on my door and someone saying, "You need to leave." Confused, I went to speak to the manager who said they would not have given such a late checkout, but I provided information about the employee granting it. Prior to speaking with the manager, the employee did not speak any English at all. As it turns out, the person who said 3:00pm spoke very poor English and gave me the wrong information. I still do not know why they were banging on the door 35 minutes prior to my checkout, but no one apologized. This was a horrible experience all-around and would never, ever recommend this hotel.

I didn’t like the fact that we called the property before booking to confirm we could park our large truck and boat and was told yes there would be room. there was absolutely no way we could park there and we could not stay at the lodge.

nothing. we were not able to stay at the lodge because we were mislead that we could park our truck and boat in the parking lot. there was no way we could park there so we couldn’t stay. I hope we get our money back since we were mislead.

We couldn’t stay because they gave us a standard king room although we reserved an accessible king room and they didn’t have it available. We couldn’t stay and went to another hotel but had to pay the night although we didn’t slept in it
