The heating didn’t work, but I’m sure if we mentioned to the staff, they would have put us in a different room. We were too tired to notice until the next morning!

Although the location was fine it was still 12 mins drive to the centre of town. Breakfast was very limited. Just apples were available for the fruit offering. A few sugary cereals, something cooked, white bread and instant porridge. waffles, muffins etc. Healthy options would have been welcome

The hotel was in a good location, easy to find. lots of parking. The room was very large with a kitchen area. The bed was large and very comfortable, although the duvet could have been warmer. The staff were polite and nice.

A neighboring room had a dog that barked alot. The breakfast was tp be opened at 7 am, it was but no hot food was ready.

A little close to the road but really not a big issue

Simple, clean, Motel type accommodation, great for a family. Pool and added bonus, location perfect for exploring Kennebunk Port and the Maine coast.

The man at reception, who couldn’t remember us despite rebooking daily with him for 3 days then on the 3rd day he tried to charge us for the beach (no they are not on the beach) I do not remember why they charge, maybe there is a pass? If so, we never got one. Also, it was on the 3rd day that he mentioned the customer club but would not give me credit for the 3 nights we stayed cuz I didn’t give him the information and booked from an online company.

Well kept! We even saw them dusting outside! The pool was nice and the location is very central.

The accomodations were just mediocre. Bathtub with shower awkward to shower. Tub caulking gaps with blackened mold possible.

I want to rate this hotel five stars because the staff was so helpful overall and when I had a tough time but it was I did notice that cleanliness could be improved. There was some sand in the bathtub and hair on the shelves near the sink when we arrived, there was a slight smell I tried to identify, possibly like someone had previously spilled white wine on the rug. Some wear could be mistaken for unclean, but I think it was just places that were worn out (in the bathroom).

We enjoyed our stay at the Port Inn. In short, the location is great, the room was exactly what we needed, and they staff were friendly, kind and helpful. There was some slight wear in the bathroom but it was a nice set-up with the sink outside of the bathroom and a space beyond the two queen beds in the main room. There was a large refrigerator, microwave and the freezer compartment of the refrigerator kept my ice-packs frozen. I always bring a sound machine when I travel so I did not hear if there was any noise outside the room. We stayed at the Port Inn after going to a family party, we checked in late around 8PM and my kids were quite rambunctious during check-in, I was embarrassed but just got kind smiles from the staff. Unfortunately, my toddler threw up in bed at 1am, fortunately, the staff was super kind and helpful with getting me new bedding and extra towels in the middle of the night. The breakfast was good enough! My daughter said they were the best waffles of her life, although I think they were Eggo! Also available were oatmeal packets, muffins, toast, fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, cappuccino/hot cocoa machine. We liked the option to sit inside out outside for breakfast. We did not use the pool but it looked clean and nice, my daughters wanted to go in but we went to the beautiful and nearby Drake's Island Beach to swim instead (highly recommend).

The staff was very friendly, accommodating and professional. They were excellent at remembering who we are whenever walking by or talking with them. It was close to our final destination. Lobby was clean and welcoming. rounds were maintained. Provided abundance of towels.

A few things around the property and in my room needed to be addressed. I spoke to the young manager with suggestions. He was very receptive and listened attentively.

Don’t normally mind paying the resort fee , but when there is no housecleaning service in the room and breakfast not what’s described it’s disappointing.

Room is large and spacious, bed is very comfortable.
