Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

NetherlandsOn a 250$ stay, they wanted us to rent a fridge for 10$ a day. For a 4 star hotel, this is absolutely unacceptable! After the first night when we asked the manager, we got it for free. Secondly, thr other guests on our floor were very noisy. With a 7 year old, this is not very comfortable. Third, the balcony door did not close properly and after two requests to the staff, I had to"fix" it myself. Some of the furniture was damaged.
The location is nice, located between 2 shopping malls and a tram station across the street.

United StatesTe bar area was inconsistent with their hours. We were there over a holiday weekend and the bar area wasn’t opened for lunch consistently. One day it was open at 1 PM the next day we are told us not opening till 4 PM very disappointing that we would have to step outside of the hotel for food when we were preferring to eat within the Hotel.

United StatesSmall jacuzzi. The balcony was way too small. We weren’t able to check in until after 7pm although we informed the front desk we’d arrive at 4 pm.
The location is great. Close to shops and the San Diego MTA takes you every where. Loved the indoor pool. And the outdoor fire pits where great.

United StatesThe bathtub faucet was leaking when not in use. When I turned on the shower, half of the water poured from the tub faucet. It wouldn’t fully transition to the shower head. The caulking to the tub faucet was nonexistent and dirt and muck fell from the space between the tile and the faucet (where the caulking should have been). While in the shower, I found my feet became completely submerged in dirty water. I also didn’t realize until later that Booking.com charged me $30 for parking when I didn’t use parking and I even selected the “No” for parking at the time of booking my stay.
The bed and pillows were comfortable and it was quiet.

United StatesAlthough we enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave, there were some things we were quite upset about. My husband was given a dirty (looked like a shi*t stain) towel. There were (I’m assuming) make up stains on our sheets/blanket, though we didn’t notice right away because the stained parts were tucked into the bed until we actually untucked it all when sleeping on the bed. Also, the current was a little ripped which isn’t a big deal however, it gave the room a very unkept vibe.
Ease of check in & check out. If you’re not a Hilton Honors member, I highly recommend signing up for easier check in and check outs through the mobile app. The digital key is great too! The staff here is super friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool is currently open, however the indoor pool and hot tub are not. There’s a cafe on the property and the upstairs (2nd floor) leads out to shops/restaurants which I thought was pretty cool.

United StatesThe amount of noise, partying, yelling, fighting, and slamming of doors from the surrounding guests made this the absolute WORST possible stay of my life. I specifically chose this hotel because it was described as being family friendly but it was far from it. I got ZERO sleep in my nights there because of the partying going on around us. Definitely WORST experience of all my hotel stays.
The property was nice and clean, but we didn’t have a fridge and microwave which was wild considering I paid an exorbitant amount for a mediocre stay.

United StatesRug has holes , wallpaper is peeling, very dated, tub was not clean, leaked, fridge in first room didn’t work, then we were required to move due to a leak, no fridge or microwave in that room, service was very poor. Told to get my own luggage cart to move rooms when it wasn’t even my own fault to have to move, told to bring my keys from old room back before being given new keys, wouldn’t even tell us where we were moving to , got to room and had to wait over an hour at 11pm for a pillow. Shower gel was empty. And manager only gave a complementary breakfast for all the poor service

United StatesRoom was filthy, bathtub was inoperable. Ceiling in the shower falling apart. Furniture has extensive damage and unstable. Blood stains on the thermostat and wall. Mold in the shower. Room had a musty odor after running the AC in attempt to air out the room, windows do not open.
Needs improvement in all aspects, other than front desk staff.
