The plumbing is horrible. Toilets are so loud and seem like they’re going to explode when you flush. No water pressure for the shower. The restaurant being closed was not fun.

The pool and the beach location. Normally I would say the diner like restaurant and the burgers at Tiki Hut, Flippers. Those are the main reason I booked at Dolphin. The renovations caused both of those options to not be available.

The Dolphin Resort hotel is currently undergoing a lot of renovations and parking right now was a little more burdensome, but we still had good parking out front. There's a lot of painting and remodeling going on right now, (September/October 2024). The main restaurant was closed right now. Still really enjoyed our 4 night stay there nonetheless.

The view of the Gulf of Mexico from our 3rd floor, balcony guestroom was simply fabulous! Beautiful, amazing view of the beach, the ocean and was just spectacular! Loved the balcony and the room was very nice and comfortable.

Our room was not cleaned the days we were there. The trash was emptied and towels were added daily but room wasn't vacuumed or beds were not made. Found that odd

We never had our room cleaning during our 4 day stay which made the room pretty dirty being on the beach. Just had our towels replaced. Had a mini-kitchen with cabinets and drawers but no plates or silverware to use it.

The beach access and pool were great. The staff was friendly. The food was decent. Good value for money.

The only thing that was a bit negative was the room smelled a little like mildew BUT it’s on the beachfront and ground level so it’s expected!

Room was not that clean! A/C vent was fifthly, glass door looked like it had not been cleaned in forever. Room phone was broken, internet not hooked up so TV didn't come on. Had to walk down to Ray at the front desk to report it, By the way, Ray doesn't know how to smile and greet anyone. I experienced this twice with him. They did come up and fix the internet, so that was good. The stairwells stink!! It would be wise to deodorize them with something! Sucks that the pool bar doesn't open until 11:00AM. No one can get a bloody mary while on vacation with their breakfast!

Security issues - few times I saw outsiders who came from public beaches spending time in the hotel swimming pool. They do not look dangerous, but they still do not live in this hotel.

It has a perfect location, a big beach with a complimentary cabana.

It was a long wait time to get breakfast, and food wasn't that good.

I like the view to the ocean from my room. Very easy access to my room from different entrances. Also the discount on drinks on every day. And staff was super nice.

Installations could be better maintained, the whole place would benefit from a new painting and carpets on the corridors - or at least a good, deep cleaning. The room was clean but corridors not that much, with old carpets, painting and some stains that left a not so good impression. But I think it kind of matches what we should expect based on price - which was actually very good.

Location is perfect, in front of a beautiful beach. Nice swimming pool though a little bit crowded when we went (well, not their fault I believe since it was a summer weekend). Free, convenient beach facilities (tent and chairs).

The towels in the bathroom were terrible. It was like drying yourself with sandpaper. There did not shower too be any maid service. Beds were never made and room was not vacuumed.

I loved the location and the room was great! Had a sliding glass door right to the beach. The staff were friendly, especially those in the restaurant.
