The room was nice except there was a large hole in the shower wall, it looked like it had been covered at one point but not when we were there. The staff was ok, one was a bit rude and the other was fine. We requested to be put on the call list if the northern lights were out, unfortunately we did not get that call but were informed by other guests that the lights were in fact out.

The view from the deck and location were great!!! Beds were comfortable and the room had everything you would expect it to. Walkable to a lot of things and wonderful that they had a shuttle to take you places since it's not easy to get around Denali without a vehicle.

Didn’t like parking so far below two levels and no one available to come give us a ride on the cart. TV was very old and grainy. Rooms were very small. Coffee, sandwiches, and other food was VERY expensive!

Staff was very friendly! The place was clean. The location was super convenient, so close to the National Park. The view from the common facilities was excellent. Overall great stay.

A bit pricey, but on par with the competition. Surprised by the non-stop train of tourist busses that arrive daily. Pretty sure I caught covid while there.

There was no housekeeping (perhaps only on request). This is fine for a couple of days but at least the trash could be taken out, and coffee/toiletries replenished. Shuttle bus was once an hour and there was a pause in the afternoon when the train arrives, and immediately after this pause the service was not very reliable. The price per night was high which is common for Denali but for such a price one should at least get some snacks in the room and not have to pay extra for the transfer from the railway station. All that said, in my view, this was the best choice of hotel for Denali.

It is a great hotel, the room was beautifully furnished and had a nice little balcony which was a pleasant surprise. Restaurant and cafe on site and a spacious terrace on which one can relax and enjoy wonderful views. Less than 10 minutes walk to "centre" with grocery store, souvenir shops and some restaurants. Free shuttle to the Visitor centre, which was very convenient. Staff were nice and efficient.

Tiny bathroom that could have been cleaner in the bath and on walls. The towel rack was broken and towels were on the old side. TV a was not working for the whole 3 night stay. No room service or stock replenishment but we were warned about this in advance so fair enough. Overall however I am still happy with my choice to stay at Denali Bluffs.

Good location with easy access to Denali Visitors centre. Brown bus pickup point as well a regular shuttle. The restaurant food was quite OK at decent prices. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Getting back and forth form the car to the room with luggage is a chore for a senior. If you are young this would not be a problem.

The traffic noise from the highway below the hotel. This is THE ONLY road between Anchorage & Fairbanks, so ALL cars & trucks use it! Don’t know if units farther back on the property are quieter in this regard. Earplugs definitely helped. The food is decent. As the website said, they are in RURAL Alaska, and things do not get there quickly. The restaurant was good for breakfast & dinner; but other hotels, and some small restaurants are within a few minutes walk also have good dining rooms. The two “ grocery” stores have mostly grab & go stuff. Since Denali Bluffs rooms do NOT have microwaves, this limits you to fridge foods. All in all we were fine food wise; but, it took some planning, $$, and walking.

The view, comfortable room, quiet, very clean rom and property. The shuttle service from hotel into Denali was excellent. So glad we were at Denali Bluffs, as the bus stopped there first then went up the hill to the Grand Denali hotel; but often there was no room in the 9:30 am shuttle for those folks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also loved their tradition of celebrating Christmas on Aug. 25-didn’t know it’s a National Parks tradition! There’s a reason! The season ends around September 15, so late season folks may see a bit less staff/supplies? Also be prepared to walk at the property & in the small shopping/tourist area.

Prices and lack of variety in food on site My bag was missing for 2 hours. When it was delivered to me the handle was broken. The body wash dispenser was empty. One of the knobs on the armoire came off as the screw was stripped. Very noisy when the bus/cruise people arrived after 10 pm. Upstairs people were very loud as was the rooms next to me. I could hear their conversations.
