I answered above how much I liked the stay to avoid answering about my first night, in room 121. This property shouldn't even offer those rooms. When I checked in late at night the desk clerk guy was nearly rude when I asked about the room. This was my first time at this property and if I had not been able to move to a reasonable room I would have worked HARD to burn it online as badly as i could have, I was that unhappy with the room and the treatment. HOWEVER, however, the next day I was able to move and that turned everything around (nicer staff too) and next time I am in Fla I will book here again, now that I know what specifically to insist on. I have no problems recommending Sun Viking to others, it's older but still very appealing (with a caveat of no-ground-floor-next-to-the-elevators room.) ;)

I loved the room with a view, loved loved the heated pool, and location on the beach was just fine.

facilities are old and if you are staying on upper levels stairs are the only with suitcase.....my husband didn't mind though....facilities are older need a little updating...

Rooms were super clean and had a cute little kitchen....went out of their way to fan towels and make things look special.....great spot near beach and ocean!!! easy to access!! staff were very friendly

Police were there our first day investigating a murder watching a room for someone to return. I was with my kids so wasn’t impressed with that.

The room I had was on the bottom floor of the tower and faced the parking lot. Everytime someone walked by or was talking sounded like they were in my room. When the shower was going for the room next door it almost sounded like they were in my room. I was quite happy with the room but it was a little dated on the decor side.

The whole stay was excellent, staff were very good always available. Room was very clean organized had everything that i needed, parking was good and had no problems .

Could have used some coffee in the room. It was very windy (not their fault obviously) and the screens rattled overnight. Simple solution was to remove them.

The staff made the experience. They were invariably friendly, receptive and congenial. It also helped that there was a real sense of 'family' around the facilities.

The bed was hard, I woke a lot through the night but that just may be me. I still slept

The staff was exceptionally friendly, the rooms were spacious. The pool indoor and out, hot tubs, beach side, everything was clean. I can't wait to go back here!

We visited in the off-season so the next door cafe wasn’t available for brkfst items. Wasn’t a dislike but worth mentioning as a lot of properties catch up on updates during downtime seasons.

Very clean & cozy. Smallish like a cottage & everything we needed. We had a double Q room. Tall dresser for clothes that had clean drawers. Well maintained. Great staff with both check in & out. Had fridge, flatscreen TV, & unique wrist bracelet for locking system. Much better than a card to carry. 24/7 coffee.

The bed is not super comfortable and too much light comes in the room so it’s hard to sleep. The jacuzzi was very foamy/needed cleaned so we didn’t feel comfortable getting in it.

There was a very large family with lots of kids running around unsupervised and that was a little stressful

The people were very friendly and kind and they gave us wristbands so we could hang around the pool after check out. The kids loved the water slide

The room itself smelled musty, was very outdated and worn out. Not very comfortable beds. Beautiful view of the beach. Good location.

Very nice pool, inside and outside, nice beach access, extra onsite amenities like video games and pool side activities. The outward approach to keeping it from being a drunken young festival.

A housemaid stole a lot of medications from 3 different people while cleaning our room. If your room is close to the road don’t plan on sleeping you hear all the traffic.

The outside pool was so nasty with all the sand they never cleaned it out . The rooms r very dated and have a smell I would not even sit on the couch it was supposed to have a waterside that is one of the only reasons I booked here get there and it has been taken down just wow
