Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesBathrooms weren’t cleaned very well from previous stays and pillows were a bit lumpy - they’re under construction but they’re doing best they can to keep the aesthetics up. Breakfast in the morning was just okay, had to wait awhile for refills and limited options (our stay they had pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage and home fries with a few cereal options)
Location was fantastic for busch gardens & water country. AC was great in the rooms, cooled down the room quickly. Staff were kind and helpful.

United StatesRenovation to the pool and the pool should be done in the off season. Even though the renovations were occurring, the hotel was still clean and dust free. So, I commend the staff for that. The breakfast was the same each day. The sausage was cold.

United StatesThere were dogs barking in the rooms on your floor. The hallway smelled horrible and made us nauseous every time we went in and out. Also, the hotel is under construction which I don’t actually mind as much because you need to renovate to improve, but because of this the pool as drained and they didn’t have everything for breakfast. I wish they had said something on the website about the pool not being available.

The new staff did not speak in the hallways when they were cleaning rooms. It was a different energy. We have stayed at that location 3 to 4 times. I do not think I will be back.

United StatesThe location was away from town so you have to drive everywhere. Only one set of elevators working which was a little inconvenient. The elevator was smelly, kinda like burnt hair or oil.. our sink was somewhat stopped up, couldn't run the water long or the water would puddle up..

United StatesThe hotel is clearly going under renovations currently and this was not stated anywhere online (as far as I could tell) when booking. There were exposed pipes, lots of mystery stains and liquid, and overall the facilities of the hotel itself felt very run down. Our rooms were supposed to be adjoined with a connecting door but they were not, although our first room had a connecting door that was nailed shut. It had a very ominous vibe. The walls were paper thin so we could hear lots of noise coming from the room next to us. Thankfully the front desk staff were able to help us get moved to a different room that was quieter.
The staff were very kind and helpful when checking in and also helped us when problems arose. The two rooms I booked were overall comfortable and suited our needs for the trip. The lobby was nice and it’s clear that they are putting work into making this hotel better and more updated.

United StatesThe beds were comfortable but seemed smaller than double beds offered by other hotel chains. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Main issue was the mildew on the bottom of the shower curtain. I wouldn't have that shower curtain in my house if I had company staying over.
The staff and free breakfast was nice. They are updating the hotel so it should be nice soon. The location was convenient to colonial Williamsburg and busch gardens.
