Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThere was no water pressure in the shower it was like taking a bird bath , The pool was so cloudy I was scared to get in but I finally did and I found a small baby fish floating 👀 The Jacuzzi jets were not working either. I have a picture of the little fish.

United StatesThere was a used piece of bar soap in the soap tray located near the sink in the bathroom. I also noticed a yellow marker line on top bed spread on the bed closes to the window. I didn’t complain about anything because overall my stay was decent. I would stay there again.

Honestly didn’t know what to expect. I figured, and wrongly so, that since it was more affordable that it would be dumpy but I was genuinely impressed. Great job, great room. If I’m ever back in Richmond in the future, I know where I’m staying.

United StatesThe AC unit in the room we were in smelled like old socks when running. This means there is a drainage issue with the unit and it should be cleaned and serviced. There are plenty of videos online to show someone how to do the job.

United StatesThe smell of the rooms were bad though. We switched rooms because it smelled like there had been a water leak. The room was musty and moldy smelling. The second room smelled musty but it was better than the first. The staff was really great to work with. I wish we could have ended up with a room that didn’t smell bad but I wasn’t sure if that was even possible.
The breakfast was fine. Nothing fancy but filled you up and it had a decent variety of foods to choose from. The hotel is old but clean

United StatesThey told me the wrong time for breakfast, and I had a 5.5-hour trip ahead of me. They should put the info in writing in the room with a do not disturb sign to hang on the door. Maid service tried to come in and clean at 930 am. when chk out was 12 pm. My husband was asleep, and I was in the shower. Not cool.
