Pillows were very uncomfortable. They were very flat and we both had trouble sleeping with them.

Breakfast had a large variety of options (eg eggs, cereal, fruits etc). Food was very tasty and plenty was available. A staff member was present both mornings and was constantly keeping everything clean.

Overall the stay there was good. I had a room on the second floor and the room was clean except one of the sheets had stains on it and a piece of hair. I just asked the people at the desk if I could just have new sheets and I changed them myself so I knew that they were clean. Everything else in the room was fine. The AC worked great. The other thing I would note was shower curtain had a stain on it but it didn’t bother me much. The breakfast was really good and they had hot breakfast too. If you are looking for a place to swim this probably isn’t it because the indoor pool area is humid and the water was like a murky green but if you are staying for other plans like cedar point or put-in bay then this is a great location for you. I didn’t have anything trouble checking in. It was quick and easy. Overall I would stay again ! Thanks.

The swimming pool was filthy, green water, couldn't see the bottom of the pool. Website mentioned a hot tub and there wasn't one. Pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

The room was not Country Inn And Suites standards and no couch or sitting area which am used to as stay at this name of hotel a lot. It was expensive but not updated. So not worth the cost.The front desk staff was so nice and helpful with towels needed and cookies.

We enjoyed the pool which was in a heated room but not warm pool.cool pool was nice. The breakfast was wonderful food and such great staff and cook. The room was okay and had bathroom with sink outside of it and big closet in end corner.Cookies were nice at .desk..

These were not major deal breakers for me but when I read these issues on other reviews, I did find them true..First off,I expected a bit higher quality on the appearance of things being that it was a country inn "& suites",I think it was more on a level of the sleep inn across the street because the rugs in the lobby looked like they needed to be replaced and didn't have that fresh hotel smell upon entrance,some of the room doors could have stood a painting as well but It wasn't bad just not up to "suites" par.The elevator seemed like it never wanted to open once it reached the second floor as you had to push the door open button.Secondly, only one trash can in the room made it difficult to house trash for 4 ppl so we had to keep taking the trash out ourselves but there were plenty of trash bags in the bottom of the trash can to replace the ones we took out. Thirdly,The fitness room was very small and could only hold 2 people but during our stay, no one was ever in there so it didn't prevent my husband and I from having access to it. Last,the wifi was a bit choppy, I tried to log my laptop on to it and it never did allow me access to the internet, and sometimes the channels on the tv would go out so Im not sure if that was because of the internet or not.Also, there were complaints about the pool on other reviews but the pool was fine for us.Again,these were all minor to us, if you are picky about things like this, this is not the stay for you.

The staff was nice, we had a problem with our sink draining and they fixed it right away. The rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast was excellent with helpful attendants and it was overall a good stay.Location was good to get on the interstate,a straight shot to miller ferry for access to put in bay and port clinton lighthouse. We would stay again!

Sink in bathroom was broke. Stopper was stuck and sink would not drain. I had to put small piece of cardboard to hold stopper to get water to drain. Was told maintenance went home for day. Next drain was not fixed. Placed in another room.

The mattress was uncomfortable and shower had soap scum which grossed me out. Toilet seat had a ding in it, made it look dirty. It’s a simple fix. Toilet seats cost like $20.

Sadly, the bathroom had mildew in the shower. very distasteful! everything else was fantastic ! I do not understand why the shower couldn’t be clean with bleach to kill the mildew. It was disappointing!

Small bathroom, the door paneling was peeling off. There was some popcorn under the tv stand from previous visitors. Took a while for AC to get the room cool. Bed too firm for my comfort, but that's a personal comfort level. Pool...eh.. was going to take the kids but looked green. Work out room can maybe fit 2 people.

Breakfast hours were a little limited - we're used to breakfast being available till 10 -11am, this one closed at 9:30 so we missed it by 15 min. The hours were posted, but we didn't see that until afterward. There were also cookies available @ front desk during check in but none offered - neither of these things would prevent from staying again.

Room was recently updated, very clean, even smelled nice, hotel lobby and 1st floor amenities also clean, updated and nice. Cleaning and front desk at checkout were very kind, conversational and pleasant to speak with. Would definitely stay here again.
