The Cottages and grounds are beautiful....very comfortable. Location is excellent, 25 minutes to Sonoma Coast Park ( Kortum Trail is an incredible, easy hike along the Coast ), 25 minutes to Healdsburg, 10 minutes to Armstrong Redwoods. Guernville is a cute, authentic old California small town

Would have liked breakfast to start earlier. Fan in bathroom connected to light and extremely loud. Room was very hot with heat on and the temp control really didnt help. Had to be freezing w no heat or hot w heat.

Room a little sterile,- could use an area rug Road noise a small distraction, and breakfast ok with limited selection of hot cereal, yogurt and muffins/bagels but was included :) and coffee was good :)

Really enjoy staying at the Cottages. Always a good time. The room we stayed at only had one chair to sit on. It had room for another and would have been nice instead of laying or sitting on bed. Also on my side of the bed it would have been nice to have an outlet to charge my phone.

Was a little disappointed in the lack of towels - as we had 2 members in the room and only (2) towels (for a 3 day stay) w/o any replacements unless specifically asking for them.

we had a huge room with full kitchen and separate living room…but, no mention was made of the almost 40 steps we had to drag ourselves and our luggage up to the room with no assistance. I am 70 with bad knees, but it would have been difficult even with good knees and i was young. i was not offered any other option and it was not exactly inexpensive. not happy with this at all

The lighting in the bathroom is not too good for putting on make up, etc. Also toilet, sink and shower are altogether so one person can use the bathroom at a time.

From the minute we walked in we were impressed. The lady at the front was super informative and arranged breakfast for us because we were going to need to leave before the breakfast was served. Our cottage was clean, comfy and spacious. After dinner, we sat by the firepit (which was not on due to fire danger), had a night cap and some dessert, and had a snuggle with the very affectionate house cat! Breakfast was out early and was delicious!

Actually absolutely nothing.

We have been to this place on 3 different occasions when visiting the river. It is so well maintained, dog friendly, great coffee and breakfast , S’mores the cat hanging around, and all around great vibes and a great price as well!!! We’ll be back!!

If you are looking for a great place to stay then look no further. The staff is amazing especially DeeAnn the manager. You are so welcomed in this community of cottages. I can not express how special this place is. It is perfectly located off of River Rd, extremely clean and the outside space is beautiful. There is a wonderful breakfast to help get you going. All the guests that stay there are wonderful that it just adds to the experience.

The two women who staffed the reception desk are less than friendly and unprofessional in behavior and appearance. They barely greet you upon entry and reluctantly answer questions while looking distracted. They are an unexpected contrast to the higher quality aspects of this property. Also disappointed that there were few obvious efforts to conserve and recycle. Too many disposable plates, cups, plastic utensils and food waste. And it would have been nice to have a microwave and real glassware in the cottage.

Stylish decor (West Elm-ish), great bedside lighting for reading, good breakfast with slow-cooked oatmeal and other goodies, well-landscaped property safe and quiet, happy about refillable toiletries in shower/tub, heat/AC unit works well, nice sofa-chaise and television in front room, unit 7 was spacious with two bedrooms although the beds took up too much space in each room. I learned this property experienced serious flooding in 2019 and has been completely rehabbed which explains why the property looks new, modern and clean. The pool is quite refreshing in the heat of early October. An adorable orange cat on the premises kept my hubby company as he swam and promptly took an afternoon nap on his beach towel. This was a great base to rest while exploring all the myriad attractions of beautiful Sonoma county.

Our cabin was right next to the highway so there was a lot of "traffic" noise. People in the courtyard were also a little noisy.

The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is very good and s'mores in the evening were really nice. Great location, close to hiking, beaches, restaurants, and shopping. Rooms are simple but comfortable.

There was a mix-up with our room reservation. The lady at the front desk was frazzled when asked discrepancy. She helped us get it sorted and even apologized. Must have been a heavy day for her. Hotel is near road can hear cars speeding by, but not too bad that it disturbs your slumber. Rooms are also bright in the morning, some blackout curtains would be nice.

Cute, quaint hotel. Beautiful grounds and great location. Restaurant's across the road and downtown Guerneville only a short drive. I will definitely return!

The noise level from the street when outside.

We like the room, it was cleaned and spacious. I didn't like the bed on one side, it was a little soft and was making noise when moving. Breakfast was great.
