The room was very cold as the heat wasn’t on and the fridge wasn’t plugged in which made the start less convenient. The door has gaps around the frame, so the cold drafts continued and made the bathroom a chilly experience.

The space was clean and fresh. We arrived at 1 am and the staff was very accommodating of our late arrival. There wasn’t any noise from the neighbors.

Wasn't allowed into my room even though it was only 2 hours after I booked it due to the fact that it was 307 a.m. and apparently you can't check in after 3:00 a.m. the room was prepaid and I was well aware that I had to be out at the exact same time that I would have been out had I checked in earlier in the day and I would have been there was no necessity for it whatsoever there's a family emergency and I needed that room for the night because of an unexpected situation and was thrilled that I was able to book one paid for it and then got there and when I got there I was turned away because it was 7 minutes past 3:00 a.m. which you can't find anywhere in their policies or anywhere else that you can't check into your room after 3:00 a.m. especially when it was only 2 hours after I booked it! Ridiculous. Was literally out on the street for the night because of this man and his need to control things and on top of that he was rude there was just a note plastered on the door with all the doors locked even though they were open so they don't even have a night clerk you can get a way better room right down the road for $20 or $30 sometimes even $40 cheaper than this hotel and this is how he's going to treat his customers. I won't be back. And the quote unquote newly renovated room still look like they're from 1979.

That after a family emergency situation, with single room needed I was thrilled I could still book.... And then enter crotchety rude owner

no breakfast offerings. An electric kettle to boil Hot water and tea & coffee packets were notably absent. a microwave oven would have been appreciated as well. The entrance to the property is extremely bleak. It gave the appearance of possible illegal activity. when we were waiting for our ride to leave one other "guest" made us very uncomfortable walking back and forth asking for cigarettes & other items. I suppose the television shows were good.

Dated and I slept on top of the bed with my own comforter. It was clean but ragged. You get what you pay for. If you need a cheap room you could do worse.

For starters, when we got there, we had to wait about 30 minutes for the owner to come back to the establishment and check us in. The place was all locked up with a phone number for us to call when we arrived. We were told there would be breakfast and coffee starting at 8am, we went down at 8:15 to get coffee, because there were no makers in our room, and again, front door was locked and no answer when we knocked . The whole atmosphere just gave us an unsafe feeling. We slept with a borrowed knife from our daughter’s new apartment,( we were in town due to her starting school at Purdue) and a chair up against the door.

The location of the Motel was a plus. You can tell it was as clean as it could be. The owner was very friendly , and charming.
