Extremely disappointing. Paid $350 for 2 nights and should have just went to a motel 8. There was toe or finger nails under the edge of one of the beds, pee all in the crevices of the toilet, just generally unclean. Security was also an issue. I was told there was only one entrance and exit which was not the case, there was side door access. Being a mom of 2 small kids traveling alone I like to know what the safety is like. Every single one of the side doors did not latch. So anyone had access through the pool or stairwell. The pool was also disgusting, hot tub doesn’t work, rust everywhere, a pool light sitting outside the pool but the wire still attached.

The staff was friendly but the pictures are very misleading.

Sofa bed wasn’t comfortable used as a couch but the foldout was comfy!

First room hadn’t been cleaned, the bed was just remade with dirty linen and the bathroom was dirty. Asked for a new room and was accommodated by a very helpful staff member to find a good and equal rate room. Even then, the carpets/walls/furniture were all very grungy and worn out/gross. The breakfast wasn’t anything special but again the staff worked hard to keep everything stocked/available for the guests. The room keys worked about 10% of the time, had to try about 10-15 times to get the door open and had to get new keys every other day. Other people in the hallways were also struggling with the key system, they just don’t work consistently. The pool was not clean and ice cold; my kid started shivering and we had to finish playing after about 10-15 minutes. The elevator is on its last leg, felt like it would drop out anytime. Overall a very run down hotel, wouldn’t recommend to anyone if you have other options.

The staff bent over backwards to help when needed. And it was priced affordable for the location. That’s about it.

The sofa bed in the extra room, too thin..Hard!

Customer service was awesome! Everyone spoke and acknowledged you. If we needed anything, it was provided. Breakfast was hot. Also sugar free condiments. The pool was clean..Family enjoyed the spa. I was even allowed to use a dryer for the wet clothes from SeaWorld.

The hot water situation was very disappointing. We called in advance to verify the indoor pool and hot tub were working, but arrived to find that the hot tub was cold. Not cool, not lukewarm: actually cold. There was no maintenance person available to address the issue, and no apparent interest from management in resolving it in a timely fashion. These facilities were a large portion of why we chose this hotel for a family getaway. Our disappointment cannot be overstated. The single staffer present did something in the mechanical room, and I heard from other guests that the water did warm up for about a minute before cooling off again. When I asked him about it, he said that the water splashing out of the hot tub was the problem which...didn't make sense. Water always splashes out of hot tubs. I let it go and asked him to check again, which he did. Whatever he did this time, it had no effect. We gave up on the hot tub. Then, after swimming, our shower also didn't get hot, though with some effort we were able to get the water at least warm enough to rinse off. The water pressure was very low throughout our stay. Again, no maintenance person was available, though we were given tips on adjusting the handle to get more heat out of the shower. Finally, in further evidence that this hotel is in severe need of maintenance, during breakfast the ceiling started leaking into the breakfast room. They put a trashcan under the leak, and that's when we decided to make our exit. When we checked out, the front desk person, who I hadn't seen before, asked how our stay was, and I voiced our disappointment. Their sympathy amounted to: "Sorry, about that. Our contracted service company only works during the week." Gee, thanks. In my opinion, this is a massive oversight and a very poor business decision, but perhaps leaving your weekend travelers with a cold hot tub, weak showers, and leaking ceilings makes good sense to someone.

The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and well organized. Breakfast was also good, especially the mini-waffles. The sausage and eggs were also surprisingly good for hotel fare. The indoor pool was pleasantly warm and a good size. HGTV, as ever, was entertaining, not that the hotel can take credit for that.

I would like to add the staff was wonderful. had a situation where I could not fit all my luggage in my vehicle on the last day of my stay because I had 2 extra people to ride with me on the last day of my stay. They graciously kept my luggage for me until I could pick it up. Thank you staff members for all your help,.

The key pad didn't work well, and at times, we were afraid we would be locked out of our room.

The highlight for our stay was the indoor pool and hot tub. My daughters loved it so much every day we spent 2 hours swimming and having fun.

Just that the hottub was cold but the pool was nice and warm so that made up for it. The lighting in the bathroom could have been brighter but again not that big of an issue.

The room was clean and spacious. We needed extra towels for the pool and blankets for the fold out couch bed and those were supplied to us readily. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was great with a wide variety of foods to choose from. The pool was nice and warm only drawback was the hottub/jacuzzi was cold so that was a little weird. But at least the pool was comfortably warm. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our room smelled like a chemical cleaner. Also smells like chemical cleaner upon walking in, although it doesn't feel clean. The breakfast area is too small for the size of hotel, so when it's very full, you will have to wait in line and take your breakfast to your room. I recommend bringing your own food if it's a holiday vacation. Rooms are pretty clean, but the hallways and floors are very dirty. The carpets are dirty as well. The beds were okay, we still slept, but the beds are mattresses with springs and can cause a backache for those who need support. The pool towels are extremely small and dingy, you need two towels to dry off. Room service sucks, they took our dirty towels and never came back with clean ones. They seem to be lacking in staff, but the staff that are working there were all extremely friendly and we appreciated that.

We loved the warm pool most! Nice location, looks nice from the outside.

Shower was not very warm this time around. There were 4 of us and by the time the 4th person showered the water was lukewarm at best.

Love the area and how quiet it is! We have been staying here for over 10 years every time we come to San Antonio.

Our blackout curtains were broken upon arrival, no way to close them. Smoke detector was missing from ceiling. We were never offered a different room, instead given a binder clip to attempt to darken the room for bedtime, did not work.

Everything was great! The staff was very polite and nice. The facilities were accommodating and right off the expressway. I stayed there two nights. On the second night I noticed the comforter was not clean. They still gave me another one but I would just say double check. Every thing else was great. The hot breakfast, heated pool, staff, everyone was so nice and welcoming. The check in & out was fast. I would definitely come back! Thank you all!
