Poor breakfast. Food was gone by 9:30. Was cold Shower didn't have a door leaked all over the floor. No towel holders in the bathroom. Messed up our check in .wanted a receipt at check out but was messed u. Morning person was able to straighten it out

Shuttle service was not available.

I booked this place to have a shuttle to the airport but when we arrived they told us their van driver was out on vacation and shuttle was not available. I would have gone elsewhere had I known this. However the location was fair and close to places to eat that were walking distance.

Bathroom could do with some small touchups that would make a big difference (eg. rough baseboards). Pool and gym were closed for some reason. If your rate include breakfast, the buffet should be fully stocked until the end of the specified time period.

this site on booking states 24 hour shuttle to the airport, when I inquired on it at the time of checking in, was told they haven’t done that since Covid, I had to call 4 taxi companies to get a ride at 4:30am to catch my flight. the desk clerks response was, you can go to the Holiday inn, it’s right across from the airport so you can walk. I didn’t want to pay 200$ for the night given I would be in the room less than 12 hours. I believe the Comfort Inn is responsible for making sure the booking site has up to date information, all he said was your right that’s what it says. No offer to even discount the room after having to call so many taxi companies to find one avail to take me. Uber has an agreement, they won’t go to the airport. it was a hassle and last minute stress that was not needed.

The room was listed as “accessible” which clearly means a wheelchair can access the suite through all doors. The bathroom door was too narrow. There were no bars to hold to get into the shower and the reception worker brought an extra long bench which filled the shower stall and could not be used. When I asked him about the accessible listing he said it was considered accessible because it was on the ground floor. This needs to be sorted out before I book at this hotel again.

There was no mention of the breakfast hours on check-in which resulted in our inability to take advantage of this service. We were 10 min too late.

Daytime staff and management are standoffish and rude. Asked for additional towels due to the shower leaking water to the floor and I was told to come down and get them myself. The rooms are slap together messes (tv wasn't hooked up, shower curtan was thown up with an unsecured rod that fell and hit me, new plastics left on everything). The smells from renovations made us legitimately ill to the stomach. Our shower leaked water all over the floor and we found blood on the newly installed mirror in the bathroom.

The hotel is under renovation so some of the upgrades in the rooms have the potential to be very nice... once done.

The pool was closed (online it didn’t show that) the hallways and elevator were very dirty, bathroom wasn’t cleaned well curtains were broke.

Room still had items from the previous occupant and there was still dirty towels in the bathroom. Room looked to be in the middle of renovation, which was fine, but room did not have a refrigerator or garbage can.

Bed was comfortable. Front Desk was pleasant and accommodating.

The furniture in the lobby was noticeably soiled. After schlepping our luggage up to our room we found our key cards didn't work and we had to schlep back down to the lobby to get them activated. There was a half-made fold-up bed in the hallway right outside our door that no one bothered to collect during our stay. There was a used coffee pod in the coffee maker left by a former occupant that housekeeping had not disposed of. There were clothes left in the dresser by prior occupants. We were told there was ice on our floor, but after a bit of a goose chase, we found it on the floor below.

The bed was comfortable and clean enough to get some decent sleep. The property was far enough off the highway to avoid road noise. The front desk employee was helpful and friendly.

They were undergoing renovations- no pool or fitness center access. Had a random fire alarm go off - no one contacted us or let us no what happened. Housekeeping knocked multiple times when we had a do not disturb sign up before our check out time. Overall, cleanliness was lacking. I found hair in the sheets upon check-in. The room was expensive for what it was.

The location was very convenient- pretty central to everything in Bellingham. Lots of parking available.

Was given a room with no door handle then switched to room across the hall. Nothing plugged in including lights and tvs. Couch had paint spots. I do not think the room was finished. The front desk should know what rooms are ready.

They put us at the end of a long hall that they were remodeling rooms on. There were tarps and flooring boxes, wheelbarrow, paintroller handles, empty boxes, workers, you name it. Going in in the evening was just tarps and debris. Leaving in the morning was a serious tripping hazard. I asked why they put us there. The worker Dwayne said availability. I told him they should just not have booked the room. Oh, and the pool and hot tub were closed!
