The breakfast was very lacking. If you're going to have a hot breakfast do it and don't make people wait over 15 minutes for the hot food. If you need it to be continental just do it.

The set up of the room was awkward. The sink was not located in the bathroom, but rather right next to the hallway door as one walked into the room. This meant that washing up in the morning I woke my partner as I was getting ready for the day. The breakfast area also was in a very tight space given the number of people staying at the property. It is understandable that the hotel staff would like to control access to the breakfast area, but in reality the space felt like a crowded low end restaurant at peak hours. While this will work for an overnight stay or two, longer than that I would not have felt the desire to consider having breakfast at the hotel. One other point here, the hotel staff were pushy when it was time for them to close the area for the day. Again, I understand totally the need to limit access and work on a schedule, however, it felt as if we were being pushed out of the room 10 minutes or so prior to the stated closing time, which did make an impression on our stay. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a weekend, as the price is great, and the location right off the highway make it really convenient. If I were to stay longer than 2 nights I would have looked for something a little more comfortable.

Upon arrival we were greeted by an individual at the front desk who was happy and ready to assist us with anything we needed. This was a great first impression. We were given two keys to the room (1 per guest) without asking, so this was also very nice. The room was clean and had a few extras that made it stand out. These extras included a microwave, refrigerator, and a Keurig coffee maker in the room (the hotel provided a few K cups as well). The location of the property was also great, you could see the hotel from the highway prior to exiting off. There is a Starbucks and a gas station within walking distance of the hotel.

I asked for a room on the first floor and close so I didn’t have to struggle to get luggage in and out. They gave us the furthest room from the entrance on the second floor.

When we arrived some individual in a car with Massachusetts plates was parked right in front of the door blocking the drop off/check in area while talking away on his phone. I don't know if said individual was the owner or an employee, but he was shortly after doing some work on the computer, taking inventory, and talking with the staff person at the front desk- all the while treating the drop off zone as his personal reserved parking spot and blocking anyone else from getting through there. Because of the way the parking lot is set up and how many cars were already parked there, this meant backing up and driving around the building for all arriving customers trying to check in- all because this entitled jerk couldn't move his car. Night staff person apologized, but did not seem to be in a position to tell jerk to move his car. Breakfast wasn't great and staff wasn't the best. E.g. ran out of coffee by 7am and said that they weren't making more. More coffee was later put out, not sure what that was all about.

Overall a decent, clean place to stay, did get a good night's sleep. Might go back if in area.

Breakfast was pretty good but it was "delivery day" the day that we left. We never had forks and there were some things that were "out" and would not be available during our stay. The rooms needed some TLC, such as the drain plug in the bathtub was either closed or you needed to take it out completely for the tub to drain during a shower. There was no place to hang anything in the bathroom, such as towels to dry (so that you could use them again) or clothes during a shower.

The eggs and meat were always good in both flavor and temperature and a wonderful source of protein that isn't always provided in "free" breakfast. The rooms were very clean. Towels, etc were encouraged to be used more than once.

The door on the side of the building was not locked. Anyone could come in. Security was a poor in that regard. When the door was finally locked, you were not able to open it from inside. Fire hazard.

Very small bathroom, no towel bars in the bathroom, a hook for robes would be great; brighter lights at the sink area would be great for putting on make-up; pole lamp behind corner chair would be nice for reading purposes.

There was a huge storm, lights went out for hours. My daughter and I were stuck in elevator for about 1/2 an hour, but no fault of the hotel. I and my daughter were just fearful and heightened anxiety due to being claustrophobic. The hotel staff and owner were very accommodating and concerned for my daughter and I well-being.

The breakfast was really good and fresh. They actually took pride in preparing the food for hotel guest. The kitchen/dining area was very clean and sanitized, which was nice that we didn’t have to go outside of hotel to purchase breakfast food.
