I do not feel that the resort fee was warranted for basic services. There were no extras.

The fencing round the pool, the room was basic, it was tired and needed some work, the music was still on at 2.30 am and I had to go and ask for it to be turned off and the guy didn’t even notice that it was still going.

The fact the site lead me to believe the hotel was busy but in fact, it was empty. The rate was not worth the room. I stayed in town at another hotel for $60 cheaper the next evening. Will likely not stay again. Sorry

The PS heat this time of year is miserable but the room AC was terrific. The pool area and misting and shading for lounge chairs very nice. Had some fun piggy play in the outdoor play areas.

We stayed for a full week and for the nightly rate we paid, I thought it would be a bit nicer. It's advertised as a clothing optional resort, but it seems to be run more as a bath house than as a resort. The front desk staff was not very friendly--some of the staff were quite rude. Luckily, Paul, who checked us in, was very nice, but many of the other staff members wouldn't even acknowledge us or say hello or respond to our "hello"s. Not sure who owns it or manages it but they are not setting a very friendly tone. We stayed a week. When we departed no one even said any of the common things you would expect to hear such as: "We hope to see you again." or "We hope you enjoyed your stay." or "Come back soon!" or "Safe Travels..." Nothing was said or done to thank us for staying there or to encourage us to stay there again.--a course in friendly customer service would go a long way. Also, you aren't allowed to have anyone visit without having to pay an additional $30 to $40 for them to visit for 8 hours and it will cost an additional $10 for them to get a pool towel!! At this time, with social apps such as Scruff & Grindr almost universally used to meet people, this policy was very disappointing. All of these charges, in addition to the nightly rate we already paid were a bit much. Rumor has it that the policies have changed due to the pandemic. We were told pre-pandemic you were allowed visitors for up to 4 hours. I fail to see how nickle-and-diming your guests prevents the spread of Covid-19. I'd recommend getting a day pass or staying for only a day or two. There are many other options to choose from in the area.

CCBC is a very popular place and we met a lot of great guys--locals and other tourists visiting Palm Springs. Enjoyed the various places on the property for connecting & hanging out with others. The linens and beds were comfortable.
