The only challenge was not being able to buy food to store/warm up in my room, I had to eat out for every meal.

Very conveniently located, close to plenty of places to eat. Room although small was very comfortable, clean and well-maintained. Friendly staff.

It’s not a dislike, but I just want to point out that I booked an interior room, (which I had never heard of). It did not have windows. It was small, plenty of room to walk around the bed with large bedside tables & a desk with a chair, no proper closet, but there was an armoire closet, so enough room for hanging my clothes, but not if you needed to hang a long evening dress. The bathroom was a little small, but well appointed. (And did I mention CLEAN?) I probably would not book the interior room if my husband was with me, ( I’ll book there, but just a larger room for two of us), but for someone traveling alone, knowing I would just shower, change, & sleep there… it was perfect. The only item I wish it had was a full length mirror. I had to check myself on the way out in the elevator, lol.

The staff were pleasant, helpful, and attentive. The location was perfect! I was visiting family that live just blocks away. Easy subway access, nice walk to Central Park, restaurants, etc. The bed was wonderful! The room was totally quiet. The absolute most important feature in a hotel for me is cleanliness. Even more expensive hotels in the area did not have such good reviews for being clean. My room & bathroom were spotless & the bedding was plush and freshly laundered!

I needed a room for one night for an early morning appointment. I found the Blue Angel Hotel and was impressed by their prices, especially with how nice the pictures were. I figured there had to be a catch. But in fact everything exceeded my expectations. The room was very spacious and very clean and updated. There was even a little area for me to get some work done. A+! Plus complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby at all hours. I only wish I could have stayed longer. If I'm ever back in the area, this is my apot?!

I had a great experience. They were even able to check me in before 2 after sending a few emails warning that checkin before 3 was not possible. I usually like a coffee maker or microwave in the room, but I was on the second floor so going to the lobby was not a problem. Some people may wish there was breakfast, but I went next door for dumplings so didn’t miss it.

The Blue Angel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I had an interior, windowless room and it was fine. It stays dark in the morning so you can keep sleeping. There’s a mini fridge in the room with some complimentary snacks and soft drinks. There is coffee and hot water for tea and cocoa in the lobby. The staff members were friendly and helpful. They held my bags after I checked out. There’s a nice dumpling and noodle shop next door where I had delicious pork buns (soup dumplings) and cucumber salad.

There is no option to have coffee in my room. Other hotels in the same location offer that. If there are some additional advantages of this hotel comparing to others in the area, I do not know, so I do not see justification for paying higher price (nearly $400 per night).

The hotel.is very well maintain and very clean. Location is excellent.staff is nice. A nice feeling of a boutique hotel.

The receptionist sir is very very helpful! I had issue with my charger and couldn't charge my phone before leaving, the sir helped me try to fix it and after it's mply gave me one to really saved me!!! Very appreciated! Also snack in fridge and free hot chocolate/coffee are awesome. Also room nothing to complain

It was a small room but very nicely appointed and comfortable. I was traveling alone so fine for me (and excellent value) but my 6 foot plus husband would not have liked the full (rather than queen or king) bed (which I knew about ahead of time). It was the first time I ever stayed in a room without a window, and a bit disorienting but great for sleeping at night, insulated from street noise and light. Again a great value for the money. The 24 hour coffee in the lobby was excellent.
