The only thing was it could use some updating but if that never happens we will still call it our home away from home!

The location was great! We walked to downtown Gatlinburg several days/nights without having to pay for parking! The room was very clean! We had a beautiful view of the river off of our balcony! We sit on our balcony relaxing and listening to the river flow with the beautiful lights above it shining on it! They supplied fire wood for the fire pits in the back by the river with seating! It was lite up with lightning. We saw 7 or 8 Black Bears from our Balcony! It was overall Amazing! This will be our Home Away From Home in Gatlinburg from now on! The pricing was very affordable and fair! The staff were all amazing people!

Unfortunately, the room I chose online was not the room I received, so that was a bit disappointing. The facility could use some updating/renovating. It is very rustic, antiquated, and a bit run down. The room we stayed in needs a good deep cleaning. There were cobwebs along the ceiling and a bobypin (not mine) on the bathroom floor. Also, water stains on the floor molding around the refrigerator should be replaced or at least painted.

Loved the setting, right beside a river. The bed was super comfortable. The shower had been updated and was very nice. Liked that it had a refrigerator and a microwave, we used both. Had a patio outside our room overlooking the river with a table and two bouncing chairs. We sat here often. In fact, we were sitting there when a black bear paid a visit. It was a really cool (also a bit nerve-wracking) sight to see. Terry and Larry were awesome, very gracious hosts. We enjoyed chatting with them. Overall, it's a pretty good value for the price.

I missed the bear.

The property was very pretty. Loved my balcony over looking the creek. We walked everywhere only took out the truck to go to Cades cove. Larry and Jerry were great and so was the helpful young man on morning shift.

Back part of the hotel looked like a junk yard with cars sitting there

We had amazing view of the creek and we was able to have a fire pit and roast marshmallows and was plenty of room in our room and hot water was amazing to be able to relax

Not many channels on the TV couldn't get Netflix to connect but I'm not good with all that anyway but we still loved our room and stay .

The entire stay was excellent. the host was very nice and accommodating. Our room was very nice especially liked the fireplace since the nights were chilly. Very quiet. We also seen a huge black bear , very beautiful. Family loved it!

Carrs exceeded our expectations. Our room was beautiful and the creekside view was beautiful. When our truck broke down the staff were more than accommodating. They made sure we were able to extend our stay until we were able to get our vehicle back. We were easily able to walk to many restaurants and attractions. This is the place to stay.

It didn’t bother me but the bathroom ceiling is lower than average so don’t be surprised if you have to bend down to look in the mirror.

Bed Size, fireplace, balcony, and kitchenette made the stay pleasant and very comfortable.
