Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Details of travel/transfer from airport were not clear. Every from airport/cruise transport was extra and not clearly expained on website. Cost of water for room and anything else was not explained ahead of booking. Felt like being nickled and dimed for everything.

United StatesNo pool, a bit far from the beach, and I wasn’t aware that I was going to be charged a $100 incidental deposit that won’t be credited back for 5 business days! Most hotels that charge these deposits credit them back to your card within an hour of check-out, and after inspection. This deposit WAS NOT MENTIONED or STATED on this site, nor the property’s web site! Also, someone from the cleaning staff tried to barge in on me, without knocking! Thank goodness I had the door completely locked!
The property was very clean, looked great. There is a small, but almost fully equipped gym, and a laundry room, with newer washers and dryers. There are ample food and toiletry items that can be billed to your room. The kitchen in the room was fully equipped, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a spacious vanity, which is a must! Very close to restaurants, and basic shopping area.
