Rooms need hooks to hang things and lamps by the beds would have been helpful! Walls are also thin - room in the front couldn’t sleep well due to noise from outside. Maybe thicker windows? Shower also drains very very slow.

Location is incredible!!!! So convenient with proximity to everything you need. Renovated rooms were great and clean. Love that you can text staff as well. Easy communication.

Currently being renovated. Lobby wasn’t open, so I had to call a number. There was no key in our lockbox. The outside areas are pretty run down, but it looks like they were working on it.

The room was nice and virtually brand new. The kitchen had the basics.

Bedding was good, however pillows were very uncomfortable. I couldn’t sleep on them.

It was getting renovated so to check in the office was on the second floor and being handicap it was a little difficult walking the stairs.

Everything was amazing the only complaint I have is I was there 3 nights and not once did housekeeping clean up we would see them in the halls but they didn’t come into the room we were staying in

When you drive up, you'll think "OH my God, I messed up " be patient. Yes, it's a work in progress. The outside is just beat up. The lobby isn't open yet. But! The room was brand new and remodeled with subway tile, comfy beds, a sitting room. They are remodeling from the inside out and it starts with your room.

The check in was unusual as we arrived at about 9:00 pm and no attendant was there....but completed check in over the phone, so in the end was fine.

Location is great, easy to get to groceries, etd, to down town and to the ski area. Charcoal grill out back was great. Roomy suite with two full bathrooms was essential for us. Like the remodel, looks modern was very clean.

The walls were a little thin as you could hear other guests. Rugs would be a nice addition.

We had to wait until 5:45 to check in and had to wait in car. Very inconvenient with child. Also had a water leak from dishwasher with water into living area and it took a half a day to clean up.

We utilized the shuttle to take us to the resort. Each time when coming back from the ski resort, the shuttles were no where to be found. We called the number given to us but no one answered. We ended up taking the bus back to the room.

The outside of the building is pretty beat down. I'd imagine fixing that is in the plans, but for now it's a pretty dreary place outside. Not really an issue, just cosmetic. The only real issue we faced was the heat. Our unit was on the 3rd (top) floor, so you'd expect it to be a bit warm. But, it was an inferno. We ended up turning off all the thermostats AND running the AC units just to keep the temps manageable. Opened doors when we were there as well, but still the place would get crazy hot. Again, not the end of the world, but I'd worry about what it'd be like on a hot summer day - and also what the electric usage is like if we had to run AC in winter (granted, a warm spell, but only in the upper 40s/low 50s during the day, high 20s at night)!

All in all, a great place. Location is central to both the mountain and town, as well as amenities like grocery stores (Safeway across the street) and restaurants as well as the river trail, etc. The unit we were in was clean and felt new, with everything we needed.

the cooking supplies were poor quality, they didn’t have basic things like salt/pepper/oil. there should be a mat or rug or some shoe storage because with the floors it was easy to track in mud/snow which then got the entire place dirty and we had to use towels to clean that up.

Simple things the building is missing: welcome mat and boot tray (for snowy wet shoes), table lamps and lighting is really harsh, coat hooks.

Plenty of room for family with two teens. Legacy shuttle to the resort is great and convenient. Staff is great.

No major complaints - small issues like a missing coffee filter basket were resolved quickly by staff. Pillows could use a bit of an upgrade - might just bring our own next time. No spices or oils stocked in the kitchen so plan to bring basic cooking supplies.

Great value for money for Steamboat skiing. Convenient shuttle, right on bus line to mountain and to town, newly remodeled suite, good enough kitchen (pans, utensils, dishwasher, coffee, etc.), friendly and responsive staff.

Bottom apartments had thin walls and you could hear everyone walking around above you. Ski boot walking is loud when there's no carpeting to buff the noise. The laundry room on property was good, but dryer vents need to be deep cleaned, because drying a load of laundry could take 2 hours or more, which backed up the other guests trying to use the facility. Knife block in the kitchen with scissors, extra cookware, including a crock pot would have been nice. The dry sauna room needs the door repaired, because at the top, it doesn't fit and all the warm dry air leaks out.

We loved the value of our stay because during ski season the town of Steamboat is very expensive to stay with a family of 4. Legacy Vacation rental had decent accommodations and a great location. They had shuttles running all day and convenient to all the grocery stores in walking distance to the plaza with restaurants, Walmart, grocery and liquor stores. The staff work very hard to help solve any problems. We needed extra cooking pans (there was only one frying pan) and perhaps a chopping block with standard scissors, knives, would have been helpful, but the front desk clerk lent us her scissors and provided an extra fry pan for our large family. The indoor hot tub was great after a long day! Sidewalks were always cleared of snow and ice which made it easier to load and unload skiis, groceries, etc..

Sauna didn't work. Minor things to improve in rooms: - Room TV didn't allow Netflix - Room thermostat was hard to control.

Very convenient shuttle bus! Running on-time and often to the mountains, and also serving ad-hoc requests to the city. Modern, clean apartment.

The ice in the parking lot. The stairs were a bit dangerous and there are no elevators

The walls and floors are a bit thin, we could hear our upstairs neighbors walking (loudly) every night.

Location, furnishings, and amenities were excellent. The staff were all incredibly nice and helpful.
