I Didn't like the full size bed. At a minimum, the rooms should have a queen size bed. There weren't many other negatives.

The hotel was quiet and the rooms were clean. The full size bed was a little small for my wife and I but we made do. St Michaels is an expensive place to stay and the St Michaels Inn is probably the least expensive option. If you are looking for the 5 star experience then this is not your place. If you want a comfortable place to lay your head without any frills, then stay here.

The cleaning staff knocked on our door at 9:30 the day of checkout and again at 10:45. We were packing and getting ready to leave, but felt rushed even though checkout is not until 11am.

The hotel was easily accessible and close to the downtown shopping and entertainment area. The rooms are all on the first level so we could park our vehicle right out front. The hotel pool was very clean and quiet. The room was clean and the front desk staff were very friendly.

The pool could have been open. This was one of the attractions that had me book the trip. Weather was beautiful and sunny.

It needs updating and a DEEP cleaning. Carpets feel dirty under feet. Bathroom had dirt in corners. But for the price and compared to others in St Michaels it was a steal. The beds were clean and comfortable and sink, tub and toilet were spotless. It just needs an update. We have stayed there over 6 times during 2 years and it is always the same. No evidence of any renovations to rooms. But a bargain!!

There was a slight issue when checking in because the credit card I used to book the room had been compromised and I had a replacement when checking in. The booking agency apparently wanted to charge an additional $100 when checking in. This room was booked back in February. Luckily I had all my email correspondence from the booking agency and was able to confirm I had paid for the room in full at the lower price. That took about twenty minutes to square away. The associate was very friendly and we worked through the issue.

The room was clean and everything in its place. Breakfast was what we had expected. Only issue is the morning they served pancakes they didn't have any syrup (which was not the end of the world!). We went to breakfast on our last day and when we got back to the room the key card would no longer work. It was maybe 9:30 AM so we should have been able to access our room. All-in-all we had a nice cold and rainy weekend for our stay. We spoke with other people that had stayed at the Inn and they spoke highly of the place for an older Inn.

Room had a slight musty smell. Found candy wrappers on the floor from previous tenants. Bathroom mirror needed replacing. Breakfast items need improvement. No scrambled eggs or bacon.

The rooms shown online are NOT the rooms you are guaranteed upon check-in. We went with friends and they booked 2 other rooms. Their rooms reflected the photos shown online. My room, however, was in “the back building” and was incredibly outdated. Aesthetically the room was not accurate to what was shown online. The hotel being pet friendly was nice but, listening to the barking hound across the hall from us all night/morning was not nice.

The included breakfast was nice to have on site. The room included a fridge and microwave which was nice as well.
