Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesCould use a nice update… the towels had holes in them and were ratted at the ends. The beds were hard. This is the 4th BW we’ve stayed at and was by far the worst (room quality; peeling paint and as mentioned above). We were “upgraded” too.

CanadaOur room was nice until you noticed a lot of dust built up around the room. We asked if it would be ok to have someone vacuum around the edges of the bed and room, we were told no problem and they would change out the towels etc. We came back from hiking all day, nothing touched, in the room at all.

United StatesNo control over pool. Needed crowd control as well as monitoring smoking and alcoholic beverages in hot tub and poolside. TV always flaking out but housekeeper fixed it 2nd day into 5 day stay. Microwave burned out, coffee maker didn't work and maintenance tried repairing then replaced. Kept needing keys cards a couple times a day as lock was corroded.
The housekeeping lady and maintenance man were very efficient and helped us with the issues we encountered. Kudos also to the hard working breakfast staff. The desk staff were friendly and also helped us out a few times. Room was clean although small for 4 people. Location excellent for us.

Rooms were outdated but clean. Beds/pillows were very uncomfortable. Loud repetitive fog horn blared all night from the harbor (not their fault, but definitely would’ve been nice to know before paying top dollar). The gym, pool And sauna were all closed as well which was Super disappointing because that was one of the main reasons I chose this location for my family trip. Staff was Very friendly and helpful. Cannot comment on breakfast because we didnt partake (not sure where it even was?) Great location though!

Wanting to visit Redwoods national forest the next day, the location of this hotel was paramount. As such we didn't really have a lot of options to choose from. This was a good one. Rooms were HUGE. So was the bathroom.
