The room was clean but a bit outdated. The elevator was not working so we had to walk up stairs to get to our floor. We were lucky to only be put onto the second floor as my mother is 86.

The location was perfect as we came for a high school reunion in Wayland. Close to the highway and casino, which we went to after the reunion. Staff was great. They were very conscious of the fact that the elevator wasn't working and purposefully put us only on the second floor as I was with my elderly mother.

Carpet needs updating, there was a large whole in the carpet that I noticed in the middle of the entry way in the room as soon as I walked in. It would have been nice to have breakfast available before 7 am on the weekends.

My family enjoyed the location of the hotel and pool area.

The only thing I didn't like was the pillows were a little flat and the shower was lackluster, but that was really all, everything else was great.

The room and hotel were all very clean, the staff was very nice and friendly, the breakfast was good. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice and clean too.

The breakfasts were good, but they were exactly the same every day. We stayed for 4 days straight, so by the last day we were just tired of the exact same selection. If it were only a night or two, we would have thought it was great.

The jacuzzi tub was great. ABSOLUTELY the high point of our stay.

The stairwell was temporarily uncarpeted, but they were in a phase of remodeling. So it will be carpeted again. The location was too far from my daughter's house, but that was my fault for picking that hotel. There is another Baymont closer to her, and I will choose that location next time.

It was a full breakfast with eggs and sausage, cereal, waffles, juice, yoghurt, bagels, and it was restocked as needed. There were plenty of tables to eat at. The front desk was staffed at all hours. The shower was fully stocked with bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Big bottles, not just the tiny throwaway size.

I have no functional complaints about the Wyndham at all. I have been here a few times over the last several years on business. The only, and I mean only, thing that was a bit of a negative this trip was the top edge of the tub by the faucets was cracked and rusting. Not pleasant to look at, it's likely a poorly made tub but nonetheless it's showing its age. I will add that I was surprised as in all stays so far it's never been the case that anything looked worn out. Everything else in the room was great and in an unworn condition. Everything outside the room, the vending machines, the lounges, breakfast area are all in great condition.

Location in about ten minutes away from Byron center, there is no wanting for any amenities. The attached restaurant is now closed, at least it was when I was there. That is a shame as it was a short stroll to the entrance and a full sports bar menu. I had to drive only a few minutes to find another sit down venue. I ended up at Minelli's sports bar (about twelve minutes away) which was fantastic. The breakfast room opens nice and early and is carpeted. It may not seem like much but being able to enjoy a reasonable and quiet breakfast without the clanging of chairlegs on tile first thing is a minor pleasure you don't appreciate until it's missing. Super easy access from highway. Will keep coming back. Fresh and free chocolate chip cookies are nice touch available upon check-in. I always get a good nights sleep. Staff are always friendly. It's an older hotel with some design choices giving up its age but it provides solid accomodation with decent amenities. Zero complaints. Parking lot is well lit and visible. Room HVAC worked great and wasn't loud enough to wake me at night when it cycled.

The window heating/cooling unit rattled when it was running, the beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were too soft, the shower didn’t have enough pressure. I wish they would have had a back lighted mirror for better makeup application. Also, the pool and hot tub were closed until further notice which would’ve been nice to know ahead of time so we could’ve stayed somewhere else.

Friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, loved the hot tub. We forgot deodorant, and asked the front desk man where we could buy some and he gave us a complimentary deodorant. That was very helpful and saved us so much time.

The staff at the front desk were so kind and helpful to us as we spent most of our time at Faith Trillium Hospice. They went out of their way to make us comfortable when needed and also made sure to extend our stay the last night of our brothers life. We didn't get back to the hotel until 4am that night and they still asked how we were doing the next morning. Thank you for your kindness! It helped more than you will ever know.
