There's a fan in the room, but air con would be more effective and less noisy. Otherwise we were very happy.

We got a different room from the one I booked.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had several and delicious options 🤗. Location was nice and close to metro station.

The breakfast was quite sad and lacking, would definitely recommend adding a few more options there. Our room wasn’t ready at the check in time and we had to wait outside while they finished. Quite unprofessional. There was also a mixup about our parking spot which was sorted in the end.

Great location, nice big rooms. Good vibe in general with lots of young people.

It's a very welcoming place! You feel part of a small community, and It's easy to meet people and make new friends. Shout out to the guy making breakfast, he's the best! I would definitely recommend this place

The bed frames in the dorms are made of metal, so they are not very comfortable to go up to the top bunk, and it squeeks and move when the other person moves. There are not enough plugs in the room.

Amazing staff, very helpful and friendly. Good vibe, easy to meet people, especially thanks to the many free activities organised by the hostel. It seems weird at first, because the common area is essentially the parking lot, but it's actually really nice. The dorms are surprisingly very quiet even when there is music outside, so if you don't want to participate in the parties, it's not a problem. Overall, it's all pretty clean. Each dorm has a kitchen and a bathroom, so you share with only 5 other people maximum! It's close to bus stations, a metro station, the walk of fame by foot, and of course there's a parking lot. Also, the towels are included.

Rooms were good but sometimes random people they come into room even they don’t stay with us, other than that we enjoyed our stay

The Internet issues : they have almost six different Wi-Fi addresses and you have to shuffle to get the best signal!The hotel( or hostel) is generally at a great location but it is almost at the end of "walk of fame". Which means you have to cross some homeless tents before reaching the hotel , alone. For LA native, I am sure it's nothing! But new people like me will feel uncomfortable for sure.

At first, the place looks unsafe and shady to me. But it was quite nice. Especially, for budget travel in a crazy expensive city like LA. I Like the tiki garden, friendly staff at breakfast. Their parking facilities were impressive and the laundry place was super busy. That means people are staying there for a long time! We also saw lots of activities in the courtyard, including family activities. It was the first time LA visit for my mom and she likes the place!

I place where they serve the breakfast is good. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hostel is perfectly situated in Hollywood, making it easy to visit popular attractions like the Walk of Fame. The hostel has a lively and friendly atmosphere, with plenty of opportunities to meet fellow travelers.

A/C units could use updating. The room would stay quite warm, however a fan was provided and helped. Keep in mind that we did stay during summer time.

Staff and other travelers were friendly and made the stay comfortable/fun. Free breakfast and social gatherings were much appreciated and added to the experience. Great location, near and accessible to many places.

The staff personnel (they only have staff at reception) at times gets overwhelmed with people and stuff to do. This has an impact on their attitude and sometimes customer service is not excellent. However, they do fairly well. Also, they asked for a 200 usd deposit and gave me no receipt for this money, management should improve this asap.

Volunteer staff always ask cigarettes Weed is allowed in LA it’s ok but everyone is smoking in front of my room window so it smells bad Backpackers are really nice but they make to much noise and you can’t complain about this because workers are also having party with the guests There are lots of homeless people around the hostel if u go out you can be a bit feel under stressful while walking at dirty area You need to ask always for cleaning room service
