Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaIt could have had wifi for all the guest. I rented a room for 4 and we only had access for 2 devices. I tried to contact the lobby via phone. No answer. I went downstair and there was nobody to help me.
The location for the price was great. It is what you would expect from a hotel casino in Vegas. It was clean, comfortable.

United KingdomThe check-in was a long queue and that was at 8pm at night. When we went to check-in they had given away my room with the view - and upgraded us to a suit room instead. The view was horrible and of a car park. The suit room looked very tired - the door handle on the cupboard had fallen off. There was white marks all over the brown sofa. White marks down the bathroom cupboard. The next day I asked for the room I had booked with the view - and they happily gave me a choice of a room on floor 16 or 25. And floor 25 room of the sphere view is awesome! This room was marginally smaller - but a lot nicer and cleaner than the suit room!
It’s on the main strip. I booked a room with a view of the sphere on the 25th floor - really cool view! The rooms are huge. They gave away my room with a view - but they did fix that the next day when rooms became available.

United KingdomAlthough it’s a Strip hotel, you do have to walk past several external bars and other shops to actually access the Strip - it’s not right at the front door. While I enjoyed my stay here, I would try a different hotel next time.
The Horseshoe is well-located for access to the Strip and main Vegas attractions. The staff were friendly throughout, including in the casino. The room was fine - not ultra plush like Bellagio or Caesars Palace but then that’s a different price point.

United KingdomThe room obviously hadn’t been cleaned properly so it was untidy in places. There was no toilet paper although we got some reasonably quick through housekeeping. There was underwear left in a drawer and a pillowcase and sheet had holes in them.
The room was big and had 2 huge beds which were very comfortable.

United StatesThe couple in the room next to me argued the entire time. I was put in a cheaper room, but didn't get a discount when I already had paid for the room. They falsely advertised a room with a fountain view, put me in a room on the opposite side of the hotel looking at the sphere. The parking was chaotic because the room keys were supposed to get me in and out of the parking garage, but they didn't work. I was even charged $25 at one point, but I was in a hurry and didn't have time to mess with anyone at the front desk.

There was a spot of dry vomit right in front of the toilet (no photo to show nasty to show) the room pretty dusty lamps edge of carpet hallway everything most of the staff memebers not very helpful and receptical not sure what happened first day no room service was provided I hated to checked in by myself no hotel info I had to ask for everything except laguage dept super friendly and parking in and out was a pain no help available I had to pay extra $$ the last day to get out of the parking bc no help was available
