The bed was very comfortable, the room was stylish and the gym was well equipped for a hotel gym. The location was also good next to the tram stop and the train station which comes directly from the airport was a 2 minute walk from the hotel entrance which was ideal with our cases.

The issue is that it is not safe to walk around the district in the night. It is really annoying.

Light switches in bathrooms were confusing. Sliding bathroom door is beautiful but doesn’t muffle sound.

The services were very nice but the room service was quite expensive. This was expected since it was very central in San Fransisco.

The staff was very polite. Our flight was delayed which caused us to arrive a day later than planned. We called the hotel and were able to check in to not lose our room.

The restaurant has very limited options for food because it is more like a cafe.

The location is excellent, very close to Union Square, and the cable car station is outside of the hotel. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. The building is old but nice.

The door to get into the hotel is not conspicuous. I'm not sure if it is because the room I lived in is higher, so the water pressure is not enough.

The location is so good. It is very convenient. It is near the cable car and Powell station. And there is a shopping mall cross the road.

- In general cleanliness of the bathrooms could be a little better, now when most of the facilities are relatively new it may seem ok, but it will age much faster. It also gives an impression of an "older place"

- Renovated rooms and facilities - Decent gym - Housekeeping (very efficient, room always cleaned in a very convenient time) - Nice breakfast at the café downstairs - Very central location (sometimes it is a disadvantage though in SF... many homeless around)

The rooms do not actually have a view, or the view is on a wall or facing the room next door, which can be a bit annoying for privacy. The hotel also lacks a swimming pool which was not critical for us, but can be an issue for others.

The hotel is ideally located, very close to shopping malls, restaurants, cable car, tramway, metro or bus lines (including hop-on/hop-off touristic bus tours). The hotel is also very comfortable. The personnel is very nice, welcoming, and always willing to help. This was highly appreciated during our stay.

The windows did not open. We were immediately offered two other rooms, but they faced the street and were too noisy. Since the open window could not have helped us ;) The sliding doors to the bathroom. Unfortunately, more and more hotels are doing this. The gaps are so large that I could put my fist through them. Even if you know your partner for many years, there are minutes when you want to be undisturbed.... ;)

The employee at the reception (sorry, after weeks I forgot the name), was super nice, helpful and courteous. Really rarely experienced. The hotel itself is in a nice area from which you can get to the other corners of SF very quickly. Price / performance we emfpanden as very good.
