Convenience to theaters, Hell’s Kitchen food and Central Park. Metro was close too. Very clean and well appointed lobby and rooms.

The room and the hotel itself are a bit outdated and they could use some renovations, however, this did not negatively impact our stay at all!

The hotel is very well located, just a couple of blocks from Times Square and has easy access to various lines of public transportation. The check in went very smoothly and we even had the chance the enjoy the hotel's complimentary wine hour, which was a very pleasant surprise. The room was small, but enough for two people, the bathroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Given that we had a window facing the street, it was surprisingly quiet at night! Just the location alone would be enough to book this hotel again.

The Ameritania at Times Square was an incredible experience in New York City! The location of the hotel is amazing, amazing, amazing – right in the heart of Manhattan, with easy access to the subway, restaurants, and all major attractions. Despite its central position, the neighborhood is quiet, clean, with no homeless people, and feels exceptionally safe, even if you’re on your own. The hotel staff is fantastic! From the reception to the entrance, everyone was always friendly and eager to help. Special shoutout to Mohamed and Khalid, with whom we had many pleasant conversations – they were friendly, polite, and always ready to assist. Jeff at the entrance was also wonderful, making us feel right at home. The room was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable and renovated bathroom, and the bed was simply fantastic, perfect for relaxing after a busy day in the city. Anything we requested was brought to us immediately, which truly showcased the excellent service. The rooms could perhaps use better windows to reduce the city noise, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay. The fact that a key card was needed to access the floor is a big plus for security, and the WiFi was quite good to meet our needs. The Ameritania at Times Square is ideal for those looking to combine luxury, comfort, and safety in the heart of New York City – highly recommended!

Under-the-bed cleaning between guests could have been better; all else was clean and pleasant.

Staff was exceptionally helpful, as I'd remembered. They went out of their way to be helpful, each one and each time we needed assistance w/anything at all. Rooms are reasonably priced, but the staff is of a caliber usually only found at higher-priced establishments.

Highly recommended hotel near Timesquare First of all I would like to praise the hotel for the great staff. We had problems with our flight and therefore arrived a day later than planned The hotel approached us independently and offered us to refund the first night. Therefore we would like to thank Kevin Annabell Nidal and Alina. Customer Service is very important in this hotel. We were greeted at the door of the hotel exit every day. The door was always Held open for us. Special thanks to Said and Mohamed for always Gabin an eye out for us. There was always a nice cold drink ready for us and overall the staff were very attentive and accommodating. I can say about the room that it was very clean. Due to the circumstances we even got an upgrade with a larger bed. The hotel is very well located near various train stations, which are within walking distance. Timesquare is right nearby, where you can also find many restaurants and highlights of the city of New York. All in all, I can really recommend the hotel

There was a lot of noise throughout the night due to heavy construction work going on across the street. I didn't get much sleep as a result. My room faced the street, so if you can get a room at the back of the building that might help. I thought the morning beverage service could be improved as it was extremely minimal for the room price and added fees. If you're looking for a breakfast bar you're out of luck.

The location is excellent for site seeing and theater going. Rooms are large for Manhattan. Also I was able to check in early with no added fee; much appreciated!

The room key never worked and we would have to go down stairs to get a new key every time we arrived back the hotel.

Small boxy rooms. No coffee machine in the room. Though there is free coffee in the foyer 7-11am. Carpet is some shade of dull yellow-brown and doesn’t look clean (even if it is). The A/C is fast to start but very noisy.

Fantastic location which I guess is what you're paying for. Really friendly staff...particularly Jeff who helped with our luggage. Complimentary tea/coffee in the morning, apples and wine during happy hour nice touches. Comfy bed, good shower.
