Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomI was put into a room for someone with accessibility (wheelchair) needs (though I myself do not use a wheelchair - was just a random assignment!), and I think this room could do with upgrading. The bathroom in particular wasn't really suitable; because the shower is wheelchair accessible, there's no bathtub in the shower, meaning the water went all over the floor. There were two drains, but it really wasn't sufficient. Even when I just took a 5-min body shower, the whole bathroom turned into a lake. The staff were great about getting me a squeegie to mop it up, but if I had actually been a wheelchair user, it wouldn't have been a pleasant experience!
The staff were fantastic! Really friendly and proactive. Room was very clean and facilities were nice, with good location.

United StatesI paid for a corner room and didn’t get one. I’ve emailed several times, but I was told I didn’t book corner room even though I have my emailed confirmation. Also, don’t know why property charges $32/night to park in the garage across the street when the garage charges $22? Don’t know why they charge $10 more (it’s not valet, that’s $40/night). Omit the middleman and upcharge and do yourself a favor, just park and keep your parking ticket. Paying yourself doesn’t allow in/out multiple times a day (maybe hotel does & that’s why the $10 extra?) but we literally walked everywhere and never moved our car.
Great location, walking distance to bourbon tastings, bars and restaurants.

Excellent location, very walkable to many restaurants. The room was small but adequate and clean, bed was very comfy. We enjoyed the restaurant and outdoor seating. This is the first hotel we have stayed at that had games in the lobby for the kids. Nice!

Adorable hotel with a cute bar and little to go breakfast area as well. Walkable distance to a lot of what Louisville has to offer! Rooms were very clean, bed was super comfortable, and shower was huge with great water pressure.
