Susan and her husband Adam are very welcoming. We stayed 2 nights and we were spoiled by the delicious breakfast that were served. My husband and I will definitely recommend to others and will return sometime in the summer.

The only small issue was the low flow toilet in the room. It was always having to be flushed at least two times and sometimes three. We did follow the written rules on the toilets so that wasn't an issue.

The breakfast was amazing, wonderful cook and host

    Nothing!

Susan thought of every possible way need a traveller could have—from warm cookies to dozens of teas to beach towels to Shakespeare play cushions and blankets! Her house was so clean, comfortable and charmingly appointed. Our room was darling! But the breakfast—oh,my!!! Two gourmet courses of lovely food truly filled us for both breakfast and lunch. This gem will be the only place we choose to stay when in Ashland!!!

Right on the main road so a bit of traffic noise when you open though doors to the balcony or windows, but there was almost no traffic at night so it didn't disturb the sleep. The bed and bedding were very good quality but too firm for me, that's just my preference, my partner loved it.

Breakfast was a 12 out of 10, truly fabulous as others have remarked. Rooms are so homey and old style. And the owners house are really great, helpful friendly personable an answered any questions we had about the area and what to do. They've planted beautiful flowers and herbs and trees all around the property which makes it so pretty even already in March. Would love to see it in the summer :-). And sharing breakfast and conversation with the three other couples who were guests there was delightful too.

The B&B is on hwy 99. Staying in the front room with the balcony was noisy with the vehicle traffic. The wet road may have amplified the noise.

Adam & Susan are wonderful hosts! Susan’s 2 course breakfast was delicious and plenty that we didn’t have to stop for lunch. Snacks and drinks were available. Accommodations were nice and well appointed.

Honestly, the brevity of my stay was the only thing I could complain about.

This is such a lovely bed and breakfast, run by two very professional, experienced and friendly innkeepers. The room was beautiful, with earplugs, white noisemaker, and draft chaser all available to make sure you sleep well. Wonderful extra bedding for warmth, if necessary. The dining room and sitting room were comfortable, beautiful, and stocked with snacks, drinks and the New York Times. Adam and Susan have the talent to be there when needed but never overbearing or over chatty. I found myself wishing I could stay so much longer just to get to know them better and to indulge in the amazing, delicious, LARGE breakfast for a few more mornings! The view, the short walk to town, the peaceful neighborhood all made me feel so glad I chose to go to Ashland and to stay at Abigail’s. Oh, by the way, I loved that I stayed in Abigail Alcott’s room—she is a heroine of mine—Louisa Mae’s beloved mom.
