We got the room with 3 beds and one bed had dirty sheets so we couldn't even use it. Floors were dirty, tub filled when taking a shower. Heater cut off during the night in 20° weather. It was freezing in there.

On arrival, when we went into the reception area, there was a strong urine smell and the lady looked very unkempt and looked like she had just woke up. She stated she had not looked at the booking properly and so had to go and check that the room we had booked had been cleaned.

The room was very clean and comfortable.

the carpet smelled bad. the bathroom window leaked and wet the floor making it slick. the roof leaked and began falling in. the carpet was soaked. We were only allowed 2 towels, one for each of us. No washcloths or hand towels.

bed weren’t clean. There were hairs on the fitted sheet and pillows. We slept in our own sleeping bags. A/C was very noisy. Wifi was not working (the one listed in the room). Also, check out is at 10 and not 10.30 as stated on booking.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They stayed up late for us to check in and provided us a room with a big fridge. We also liked the vintage look of the room

Though I had informed when booking that we had a pet, it was not until check-in that they moved us to a different room with different beds, because of the pet. I don’t understand why that wasn’t made clear when booking. Sheets had stains on them. Room overall could use a little maintenance, but clean, stainless bedding would have made me pretty satisfied. Upon check-out, I asked for a receipt and the front desk staff said they could not get me one. I pressed and asked if I gave my confirmation number if it would help find the CC info, and was flatly told no. No attempt from staff to find me a receipt or confirm the price I paid.

The staff checked us in late. The hotel accepts pets. The place is obviously classic 66 lodging, though could use some better upkeep. There is an awesome Cameleon Cafe across the street.

Room was quite dilapidated with too few towels, bathroom door didn’t lock. Front door had no deadbolt and shady characters walking around. One power strip was plugged into another power strip and into one outlet - fire hazard. I won’t be staying here again.

Our room had no trash cans. Pillows didn't smell fresh/clean. Once there, I was charged in cash an additional $20 because they said that my reservation was for 3 people only even do my confirmation said it was for 3 adults & 2 children.

I stand 5' 10', the shower head was at my chest level. I had to stoop down just to wash my head. Maybe back in the 50-60's ear people average height was 5'5.
