Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomLocation, you were a bit far out and really could have done with a car. It was a pleasant 30 minute walk into Hisaronu, mostly downhill but the nearest supermarket was a good 20 minutes away and then a slog back up the hill which isn't ideal when carrying shopping and water. More of a residential feel to the complex rather than a holiday, really missed having a bar/restaurant onsite.
The apartment was superb, had everything you needed for a comfy stay. Beds were lovely, plenty of wardrobe space, showers powerful and always hot water.

United KingdomLocation. It’s no where near where the map shows. Map on booking.com shows it located by a restaurant called my way in the town of hisaranou but its a 30 minute walk from there. See photo of distance , i used google maps for this. Did contact Booking.com about this but they never replied other than an initial acknowledgment.
Plenty of room , well equipped. Hot showers. Peaceful. Huge pool with plenty of comfortable sun loungers.

United KingdomI booked the apartment despite knowing it was out of the way only because the listing stated there was a bar on site, serving alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks throughout the day, and as guests of the apartments we could also use the facilities of their sister hotel nearby (the Orka Club hotel) for FREE. Including the swimming pool and aqua park. However, once we arrived at the accommodation, we were told that we cannot use the aqua park unless we pay for entry (circa 20 pounds per adult) or swimming pool (unless we buy a daily all inclusive drink/food package for 40 per adult). When pointing out what the listing said, about the free use being included as we are guests of the apartments, we were told that this used to be true for the hotel circa 4 years ago - but they have since rebranded, so we must now pay. How can this be right? Is the property listing written fraudulently, given I only booked around 3 months ago? In my opinion yes, in order to mislead guests to book, as there was also no bar onsite at all in the grounds of the apartment either as promised in the listing description comments.
Nice apartments, very clean. Pool area nice looking BUT there are no onsite facilities despite the apartment being very out of the way, it has a residential feel. There is also very little shade - only 3 working umbrellas for the whole complex and no other shaded areas until very late afternoon when the sun moves. Not recommended for kids for this reason.
