Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyNothing, everything was great!
We loved everything- great place, delicious food, fantastic views from the balcony at breakfast and dinner time. The house is so unique, it doesn't feel like staying at a hotel at all. Also they had little kittens running around!

NetherlandsLocation is amazing - on a hill, in a peaceful area next to a nice village. Accommodation is perfectly maintained, all authentic vintage furniture is in great condition which creates a sense of time travel in this hotel. Food was good and the view from the restaurant is breath taking. A great place to spend a couple of days away from the hassle and enjoy the nature.

United States of AmericaAbsolutely nothing.
The location and aesthetics of the property are absolutely phenomenal. I felt transported into a location that wasn’t just a hotel but clearly a labor of love. There were personal touches that just made sense, excellent provision of little amenities, amazing breakfast and dinner with a view. We came to the town of Şirinçe for its historical charm (and it had plenty), but our stay and walks around the grounds of Nisanyan hotel were the most charming part of all. My partner and I have stayed in hotels in over 15 countries, and this one was in our top 3, and in certain aspects, a clear favourite. I would love to come back and stay longer in the future.

TurkeyThe bed and the pillows were a bit hard. I didn't like it but someone else might enjoy.
It was easy to find the hotel following the signs on the road. They recently built a path climbing to the hotel and it was easy to drive there. The staff is kind and helpful. They have an amazing cook named Ferda. She cooks traditional food but according to your dietary requirements and preferences. Everything we ate was delicious. They have a wide selection of local wines as well. The rooms are old but renovated to serve as a hotel room. All in all it felt so authentic and cosy. Best place to stay in Şirince.

IndiaThere was a small disappointment regarding the chalet accommodation. Despite booking a chalet advertised as having 2 bedrooms, it turned out to have only one bedroom with a door, while the second bed was in the living room/bedroom area without privacy due to the lack of a door. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the beautiful surroundings."
Overall, our stay at Nisanyan Hotel in Selçuk was delightful. The boutique hotel boasts a peaceful atmosphere and is conveniently located near Ephesus, just a short drive away. The stunning views over Sirince village were truly memorable. The breakfast spread was rich, fresh, and delicious.

Australia- This hotel seems more designed for families rather than romantic couples. We stayed 3 nights and each night there was a different family staying next door to our room, and as the walls are quite thin, we found the children noise somewhat disturbing in the evenings. - The cats climbing over tables and eating food off plates made it harder to enjoy the breakfast. - The water was often lukewarm in the shower.
- We had a great time at this boutique hotel overlooking the picturesque and colourful village of Sirince. It’s just a short walk down the hill to the village. - Very tastefully designed rooms, comfortable beds and good internet - Nice touches like a shared kitchen to make tea, and candles and incense in our room

United States of AmericaSince the hotel is in the mountains, there is a drive up a gravel road. Not a problem, but something to be aware of. The hotel gave great driving directions.
Gorgeous hotel in the mountains not far from Ephesus (15 minute drive). Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Owner spent some time visiting with us. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the property. We stayed in the main building which was decorated very nicely. We felt we were in an old home/manor. There were cottages available as well. Had a great dinner at the restaurant.

Everything - from the remote setting up in the hills, to the beautifully decorated rooms and facilities giving off a quaint countryside vibe.
