Historical Goreme House staff is very nice and kind. We felt like we ' re at home since we walked in. Our check in was at 2 pm, but we arrived very early in the morning and they let our room ready much earlier Chek-in hour. The room, like the rest of the structure, was very clean and beautiful. Narin, the hotel supervisor manager, treated us like memeber of the family with her kindness and happiness, like All the staff. This hotel is one of the most beautiful things to live in Cappadocia, this beautiful region. We recommend it to everyone

Nothing - all wonderful!

If you’re like me, and take ages to pick a hotel, I’ll save you some time - this is the place to pick in Göreme! I had a list of places saved and couldn’t pick because there were so many great options, but am so, so happy we picked this one! Here are a few important things to know: 1. The staff is amazing and so helpful (they also left us a special treat for our anniversary, which was so, so nice). 2. If you’re driving, there is parking literally right out the front door. So easy. 3. The rooms are so nice! We had room 13 (which had AC…apparently some don’t, so make sure to ask!), and it was really cute with a separate seating area. 4. The roof terrace isn’t talked about enough but is AMAZING! The view of the balloons in the morning has to be one of the best. So, so awesome. 5. The location is fantastic, literally right around the corner from the Main Street with all of the shops and restaurants. If you’re deciding where to book, this is definitely the place. I’m super picky and this exceeded my expectations.

Nothing, for the price and location, everything was great

Stayed here for 3 nights/4 days and have nothing but good things to say. The staff was very hospitable and welcoming, they helped us book tours and gave great rates. Narin went above and beyond to make sure everything was comfortable and she accommodated any requests we had. Communication was very fast and the rooms are kept clean. AC works great, we loved the balcony view from the room, and the rooftop terrace was a great space to watch hot air balloons or relax. The location is great, in a quiet spot yet accessible to the main road and nearby restaurants.

It's a family owned hotel, and we were treated like family during our stay here. They helped our family with all we needed, including laundry. The view from the rooftop was great and we spent 2 days just watching the balloons flying in the morning. The breakfast was exceptional as well. The lady at the kitchen, Sibel was very friendly and treated us like her family. Highly recommend.

Remember that if you stay in a cave suite, it is a cave - meaning sensitivity to dust/stagnant air will be an issue. It was for me the first night but, I brought my allergy meds and just doubled them up and was fine after that.

It’s a once in a lifetime experience to live in a cave room. The breakfast was delicious and served with gorgeous views. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is right in the middle of shopping, and restaurants and a 15-20 min walk to the Goreme Open Air Museum. Plenty of transportation options to visit other villages as well if you didn’t rent a car, like me. Mehmet was very helpful and communicative and assisted me with transportation from and to the airport, and he has lots of tips to assist you in booking other activities. All around, it was a wonderful trip and if you do nothing else, be sure to go to the terrace to see the balloons fly through the sky.

To be honest, we had a bit of a rocky start to our stay. There was a bit of miscommunication about our room and the hotel was full so we could not change rooms, but the staff went above and beyond to help us remedy the situation. The sun rises early (5A) and our room faced east and as we were there for almost a week, we wanted to be able to sleep in (at least til 8/9A or so some days- vacay and all...). The staff actually went out and bought room darkening material and made a set of curtains for our wall of windows - Mind blown!!! This is beyond customer service and now any travelers who come after us, can also sleep in when they wish if they stay in the King Suite! The breakfast every morning was lovely, as well as the awesome women who served and helped us with it. The location was unbeatable and we always had parking available for our car. The hotel was a little set back so was in a quiet area but right near all of the shops and restaurants. And the rooftop was excellent for seeing the hot air balloons in the morning! Seriously. You know how you see pictures of people on the roof of a hotel and the balloons look they are right next to them and you think, yeah right...photoshop... It's freaking NOT photoshop! We watched 3 balloons literally float directly overhead and could count the people in the basket as we waved to them. It depends on the direction of the wind and the pilots of course, but this hotel was right in the path one morning so we got the chance to see them right above and next to us. It was crazy and awesome and a unique once in a lifetime experience. Thanks again to all of the staff for making our stay fantastic and relaxing!

The heater was leaking and it took two days to resolve the problem. Besides, when asking for a transfer from the airport to the hotel, the information given was misleading which lead us to not make the reservation, as they were asking for 90€ for two person, when it was only 15€ per person. When we left the problem was resolved and we booked a transfer to the airport through the hotel with a 15€ price per person.

All was brilliant!

Perfect location, the best view on the flying balloons in the morning from the terrace - it’s seem that you are in the fairytale! The team is so cute and helpful- you will never be alone if you have some problems, the staff will help you for sure in any situation! Despite we came early in the morning before the official check-in time, the staff propose us to check-in and it was really good idea after a long road) Cozy rooms in authentic style with everything you need in! Highly recommended this hotel to stay in Kappadokia!

My stay was very comfortable, and the staff were excellent. They were helpful and friendly, and I would happily stay here again. The rooms and facilities are as pictured, and the location is very central. Sitting on the terrace to watch the balloons in the morning was amazing, and the sunset is beautiful here too. Even though we booked a cave room and it might be part of the experience, the room was way too humid. It needs some extra ventilation. Some more light in the bathroom would also be nice.

Central location, close to many restaurants and bars. Many public parking spots around the hotel and also free private parking spots right in front of the hotel. Breakfast is good, with great views from the terrace. Staff are nice, especially the guy doing the night shift (he got us some shisha on our last night). They help you organize any kind of excursion you wanna do and they got us a breakfast box for our last day since we had to leave early in the morning. Room was nice and big.
