Well, there are few things they can improve. I am not the one to complain but the thing most annoyed me was I requested double bed, so instead of giving us double bed they pushed 2 beds together. And instead of single large duet they put 2 on. Which was very annoying specially when you are visiting with your mrs. The single electric outlet was hidden behind the beds which was hard to access.

Location location location…… And staff is very friendly and always smiling. And some time thats all you need to make your day, A Smiling Face. Right in middle of all the hustle bustle and every single historic location is less the 10 minutes walk. Staff even went out of the way to arrange sims, airport transfers, istanbul card and much more. A Special thanks to Mohammed Ali to help me un-pin the frame in middle of night. They provided perfect customer service even in middle of night we requested any assistance and they were happy to oblige.

Not fair to ask for this, but the family did remark how small the room was compared to the previous spots. Not enough light for me to shave. The toilet was finicky. But having said that, I’d still stay here.

First time in Istanbul, appreciated how central we were. Lots to do, just steps away from the hotel. A lot of services just outside the front door. Breakfast was perfect. Loved ordering coffees. The front desk was always helpful.

Would have liked to have more plug sockets in the room and USB points would have been good.

Location fantastic, very close to Sultanamet with the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia and eight or so minutes walk to Grand Bazaar and Theodosius Cistern Very helpful staff, very pleasant check-in experience with Jacob who explained the area and places we may like to visit, with Mustafa at breakfast who quickly realised just the amount of tea we liked, and all others who helped us. They even noticed that it was my birthday and brought a cake with candle out to me! Fantastic buffet breakfast, good range and plenty of it. Our balcony room on the fourth floor gave us a pleasant place to sit out.

Room was a bit rundown, like they redid the bathroom but the door frame was in bad shape. The floors throughout the room were very messy and unattractive.

My son and I stayed for 4 nights. The staff was great, very nice and attentive. The hotel didn't quite match the photos on line, a little shabby around the edges. Breakfast was very nice and the location cannot be beat. I would give it an overall 9 out of 10.

Because of central location, can be a little noisy but didn’t affect us - just a note in case you are a light sleeper.

Car access not right in front of the hotel entrance, but that didnt matter cos the staff were more than happy to meet me at dropoff and help with luggage!

The highlight is the location and the incredibly helpful, attentive and friendly staff at Faros - my friend and I both agreed that the front desk staff were one of the best we have had in Turkey! Rooms are small but didnt bother us as we spent the day exploring and were out most of the time!

No problems at all with the hotel. (Although if you're claustrophobic, you won't like the lift!) Location-wise, this is very much tourist central, and prices for food are 3-4 times higher than in some other parts of the city and there's a tendency to rip you off. But the hotel is fantastic.

The friendliest and most helpful staff we've ever met in any hotel. A good location for exploring the sights. Good for transport too. Nice room with a good bathroom, and a little balcony. Comfortable beds.

Cute French Paris Style Hotel in the heart of the city. Close to restaurants shopping and tourist sites.

Location to 5 major tourist must see mosques and palaces. Plus a bery special Water collection system to heat the sultan’s palace. Walk to all of them.

A little bit lowd especially in the morning with the tram just under your window. The furniture was a bit outdated with such prices I believe they should refurbish the rooms The indoor restaurant has limited tables it gets very crowded sometimes (I think you can use the tables outside, not sure though)

The Location is Superb The staff were amazing and very helpful, they were keen to help us always making sure that we have all we need. They have upgraded us to a family room which was spacious The Hotel is close to everything With staff a location like that I believe I'll be returning to this hotel.
