Beautiful resort where one can recharge and enjoy the peacefulness of the area. The pool villas are unique, ensuring privacy while being a step away from the main pools, pool bar and restaurant. The food menu offers plenty of options, thai cuisine is absolutely delicious. We arrived in great need of rest, and the Sala exceeded our expectations. All the staff work hard to make your stay special. We highly recommend the Sala and will be back !!

The environment, vibe, and service

Mosquitoes here and there, but this is expected of a tropical country. The daily turn down service helps with setting up the electrical mosquito repellants and mosquito coils.

The property had lots of open space (where yoga, stretching and muay thai workouts were also conducted). Plenty of amenities - a kids pool, football field (sand), lounge/bar area on sand, beach access, bicycles (including kids’ bike and a bike with a child seat for toddlers). Every villa provided a beach bag, picnic mat, insect repellant. There were activities conducted every hour - fitness classes, art n craft for kids. The farm tour was fun for the kids, where they could feed the goats and walk around the garden. There was also a movie night with popcorn and ice cream set up for kids. Staff were very friendly and flexible. We are a large family group of 8 persons, taking up 3 villas. They granted us early check-in at 11am and late check out at 4pm. The fitness coach Beer was absolutely fantastic, even tailoring the outdoor cycling activity to suit our young kids. Breakfast had a wide variety in addition to the buffet (you can order eggs Benedict , pancakes etc). Food that came with the spa package had many healthy options that taste great. Spa was professional and very good. We also signed up for the cooking class where we were taught four Thai dishes.

Just the bugs that were around especially at night.

It was private, well-kept and generally clean. Since it was a villa by the beach, the bugs were expected and the people did their best to minimise them. The staff were excellent and they have the best service. They even surprised the husband on his birthday with a cake, without me asking for it at all.

It quite buggy so enjoy time by the pool can be a bit annoying. The pool's wall is weirdly sharp so touching it with your bare skin can be painful. The beach is not really swim-able and the surrounded is not well illuminated so that romantic walk in the evening can quickly turn into a scary romantic walk.

I was looking to get away from the city and people and I got exactly that at this resort. The place is peaceful and not too crowded with people. The staff is helpful and on-time and the breakfast is great. The resort is surrounded by green so jogging/biking is a wonderful experience.

location is a bit far off and secluded so renting a car is a good idea to move around.

Common areas like the pool, gym and spa are subpar and not at the level of the villas themselves. There isn’t much to do around and the landscape is not very tropical. The restaurant is overpriced. We also tried the dip and sip that was a complete disappointment. There is an air of feeling ripped off throughout services at the resort. Drinks are watered down.

We upgraded to a duplex 1 bedroom villa for another 2 nights. Duplex villa was absolutely wonderful for a couple and made for a lovely stay during rainy days. Breakfast was also good.

I have stayed at this hotel many many times in the last 12 years. It was always a pleasure to return there: beautiful villas (or rooms) with privacy, great service, proximity to the airport, very good food and drinks, shows in the evening, nice sand beach, etc.

The pools in the Villa can be cleaned often. Our was dirty with lot of leafs. Breakfast was but repetitive.

Good location, very quiet. Next to the beach and v stayed in a pool villa which was amazing. Overall the resort is well designed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Easy shuttle bus to the nearby shopping centre. Good activities loved the fire dance. Overall value for money and you won't be disappointed.

Far from town if you wanted to do any excursions would cost more but we elected to just chill and stay in since excursions may be more stressful since it was so hot. Resort has free daily activities - we did paddle boarding, morning yoga , gel candle and starlight cinema. A few local restaurants within walking distance too so you don’t have to eat at the hotel for every meal.

Lovely serene place with such nice little touches - from letting us choose our pillows, lotion and soap scents at check in, someone coming in the evening for turndown and putting in mosquito repellents and bringing daily delicious local tea, providing beach mat and straw bag for the beach. We got the Garden Pool Villa and our daughter enjoyed the pool. we had an amazing stay!

We stayed in a villa with private pool. The villa was very nicely decorated and comfortable. The private pool was huge and very clean. The outdoor shower might not by everyone’s taste, but we liked it. The outdoor lounge by the pool, was in the shade and comfy. The entire resort is well maintained and looks beautiful. Amazing food in the restaurant! We didn’t plan to eat there every night but ended up doing just that. Every dish we ordered was extra ordinary and mouthwatering. We can highly recommend Sala Phuket. The only “downside” - but we just mention it because we think a policy like this is really not common in Thailand - is that the prices are given net on the menu, 17 % in total are added at the end. Even though this policy is transparently flagged, we found it a bit irritating and definitely not necessary.

the electrical points are out dated. too many light switches located sporadically around the Villa making it hard to figure out which switch is for which light. also insufficient lighting within the Villa itself so for getting ready is a nightmare

Firstly the location is perfect, our pool villa was wonderful. Especially the pool! The staff were super friendly and helpful ensuring we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the food, at breakfast and lunch and the amazing seafood bbq.
