The location was excellent for us. It’s out of the main part of Ao Nang so peaceful and quiet. But a short ride or walk to the beach area if you wanted. A few very good restaurants on the nearby road if you don’t want to go far. Cottage excellent and comfortable. pool area was gorgeous with nice bar serving non alcoholic drinks (iced lattes superb especially) Breakfast great and lovely setting too. Staff so friendly and helpful. The jungle setting is magnificent.

It is not easy to set up the preferred temperature of the shower in the bathroom. Missing minibar with items. There is only a fridge.

The pool is great. Breakfast was pretty good. The best thing is the greenery and peaceful environment with the view of the mountain.

I didn’t see it posted anywhere that the property does not offer any type of alcoholic beverage. It’s not a big deal, but it surprised me when I wanted to make a toast to the end of the year and there was nothing available.

The staff is friendly and they helped us get a last-minute private tour only hours before, while every other tour company was sold out. The rooms are amazing and comfortable.

The staff were so accommodating and made our stay very pleasant. Very beautiful natural surroundings with a calming atmosphere. The rooms were exactly as advertised so not disappointed. The 20 minutes walk into the town was pleasant. There was a frequent complementary shuttle bus into the town daily.

Amazing setting, photos don’t do it justice. So clean and the breakfast restaurant was amazing overlooking a small lake. Staff so attentive and the place is spotless. Can’t recommend this place enough !

The bed had seen better days - a very hard mattress with a mattress topper to add some softness, but could still feel your bones through it. Rather uncomfortable for 5 night's sleeping, sadly. The bathroom felt dingy in comparison to the bedroom, needs modernising. But still, functional. The 'gym' is very small, very public and could do with some heavier weights!

It's no surprise that Ban Sainai has won many awards for its pool. It was absolutely incredible. The room (bungalow with jacuzzi) was very spacious, well equipped and had a fab view of the grounds. I appreciated the hand-grinder and coffee beans as a coffee lover and the complimentary banana chips were a lovely touch. The breakfasts were varied and plentiful The shuttle bus was on time, and got us where we needed to go. Overall, a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Way beyond our expectations, this is a 6.7acre tropical garden with chalets spread amongst private surroundings. More like a small village, it's like living in a botanical garden. Our chalet was spacious, comfy, and the staff so helpful and kind. A buggy was available to drive us across the estate with luggage etc, the breakfast room was by a lake that had monitor lizards to watch swimming around. A beautiful pool had free towels and a cafe. There was a free bus running at various times to/from the beach which was otherwise a 20 minute walk. Lots of shops, restaurants etc within easy reach. Highly recommended

A great resort, but resorts aren't my preference. A little pricey, but the grounds are beautiful and the scenery is breathtaking. Breakfast was expensive and really disappointing, but it's only a short walk to plenty of cheap local food stands and restaurants. Laundry is charged by the piece and gets really expensive fast. I would have preferred a smaller, less family style resort, but that's a personal preference. Great for families tho.

Beautiful resort with a great pool, friendly helpful staff, and all the amenities of a good resort. Lakeside villa was beautiful, especially the serenity at nights with only frogs, crickets, and bats to listen to. Keep an eye out for the monitor swimming in the lake. Caught the call to prayer from the mosque one evening, and it echoed beautifully off the cliffs and through the canyon, a really magical moment. Huge amazing whirlpool tub and large, deep rain shower, excellent bathroom facilities!
