United KingdomThe only slight minor issue we had was that the brand new kitchen in the apartment wasn't very well equipped - we boiled water for drinks in a pan, and there was nothing to facilitate washing up, or wiping surfaces, but this would be a very easy fix !
The staff were very friendly & helpful despite us both not speaking Italian! The apartment we had was spacious & very clean. Location great for driving to Chianti & train to Arezzo and Florence. Montevarchi itself had some great places to eat & nice friendly bars too, without being a busy tourist centre.

United KingdomParking was restricted height which we didn't attempt with a roofbox, although there is plenty of free street parking close to the hotel.
We booked interconnecting double rooms which were spacious and clean. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Montevarchi was a pleasant town as a stopover on the way to Sicily - we ate dinner in Via Roma 7 in town which was a lovely experience. Not far off the motorway so useful when travelling.

We stayed for one night in the charming town of Montevarchi during our journey to Sicily. The room provided a comfortable and enjoyable experience, with its cleanliness and fantastic beds. Although the breakfast was not spectacular, it was still decent enough to fulfill our needs. If you are looking for a comfortable stopover in Montevarchi, this hotel is worth considering.

This is a nice three star hotel, in the centre of Montevarchi. I used it to be near to my husband in the local hospital. the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very sympathetic to my circumstances and responded very fairly to the problem that I had with the suite I had booked. I am writing this not as a complaint but to share information with anyone contemplating booking the suite. The description on booking.com is very misleading. It mentions three areas, two bedrooms and a living room. Actually it only has two areas, one which can be either a living room or a twin bedroom. It also clearly states that there is an additional bathroom and an additional toilet. in the double room there is an additional bathroom with a bathtub and shower, a sink but no toilet. To go to the toilet you need to pass through the second bedroom which is not a problem if you are on your own. The wardrobe was in the second bedroom and actually there is only an open arch between the two spaces. The suite was therefore completely unsuitable for my purposes as I was sharing the space with my stepson. If you were a family with young children this solution could be ideal for you. The hotel completely accepted my problem and allowed me to cancel the rest of my stay.

Very friendly stuff, great breakfast compared to others and to italian collazione.Big plus that the rooms have a small balcony. Rooms have everything, even a small fridge. Good restaurant inside the hotel.
