Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Russia- The receptionist was working alone when we were checking in, so we had a small line to wait - No initial directions or guidance from the receptionist - At first, we were given a room with a bad smell from the bathroom. Thanks to the receptionist for giving us a replacement room quickly. - Hair dryer is not wall-mounted in a bathroom. It is stored in a bag in a cabinet, which is far from being convenient. Moreover, the hair dryer is too weak to dry at least a short hair in reasonable time. - Bath kit is quite limited. To get a toothbrush and paste, you have to go to the receptionist. It's not a big issue for me as I bring my own toothbrush. - The bathroom has a bathtub but doesn't have a curtain, so it is difficult to take a shower without getting water all over the bathroom floor - Bathroom doors open in the direction of a bathroom. It would be better if they opened in the direction of the outer room. - Breakfast could be included in the price - No pegs for hanging clothes and hats in the room - The bed is wide, but quite short for 180+cm tall people. - As we were told, Belgrade has a 320 RSD tax for non-citizens without permanent residence that stay in hotels? Very strange, but I guess the hotel is not to blame for that. Wellness and fitness center: - Wellness and fitness center do not have their own towels and guests need to bring towels from their rooms - No receptionist or manager in the wellness center to give us a card for a locker or other guidance - Two out of four treadmills in the gym were broken - Hamam was out of operation. Sauna was working, though
+ Stylish and modern interior + High-speed Wi-Fi, video calls work like a charm + Spacious room + Room desk and chair are comfortable to use for work, kudos for that!!! + Switches and power sockets are placed symmetrically by the bed + Hotel gym + Climate system works fine + Good value breakfasts with Serbian national cuisine (15 EUR) + Security: Elevators don't go to the 3rd floor and higher without a room card + Elevators arrive quickly + Nice view on Dunav and Kalemagdan

United KingdomThe gym was great but only opened at 8am and one day didn’t open at all so we had to ask the hotel to do it. It was run by an external company. No milk/creamer. No body lotion or conditioner so do bring your own if you need it.
The location was great it was in a local area with some cool restaurants and bars but still only a 10 minute walk to the centre. The facilities were good and staff pleasant.

SlovakiaNothing to add here.
Staff was great, the free robotic coffee was such a plus, and the restaurant meals were excellent. The rooms were very clean and modern, the linens were fresh and the room design was functional. Additionally, the location is in a very interesting and edgy part of the city, close to the center and Danube, but industrial in spirit. The wellness and gym facilities are fantastic also.

SerbiaWhile the hotel has many great qualities, there were a few small issues during my stay. My room refrigerator was not replenished, (no coffee milk) and I couldn’t find a “Do Not Disturb”. Additionally, I noticed the housekeeping staff discussing things in the hallway, which could be better managed for a quieter atmosphere. These are minor details, but addressing them could improve the overall experience.
The hotel is located in one of my favorite spots—perfectly situated and easy to access. The food at Sonda Restaurant is exceptional, offering a variety of delicious dishes that cater to every taste. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it an ideal place for work or friendly gatherings. It’s truly a pleasant and comfortable experience, whether you’re there for business or leisure.

RomaniaThe ventilation system in the room was working all the time even if we stopped it from the central panel and made noise all night. The spa was ok and clean but the steam room was not working for the entire period of our stay.
The breakfast was very good. The room was big enough and clean. The staff was ok and they changes the room immediately when we reported a problem in the room.

AustriaIt smells like cigarettes in the foyer and restaurant so you’re confined to your room or the wellness centre if you don’t smoke. The room is not fully cleaned everyday. *Note that smoking is allowed pretty much everywhere in Belgrade, including indoors!
The hotel is well situated to walk everywhere in fine weather. The rooms are well appointed and the bed was comfortable. I liked that I could open the windows and have some fresh air. My room had a great view of the river. There were some non-smoking restaurants nearby. The wellness centre is beautiful and also very clean. I used the sauna and had a massage.
