“We stayed in room 1. It was a lovely family room with a comfy double bed downstairs right next to the bathroom and an unstairs with another double bed and a single bed. It was located around the back and up some spiral staircases. The staff were amazing. We didn't get to meet them, but Holly kindly answered all our questions, communicating on the app and over the phone. To help us not have to leave our event early for check in, a key was left in the key safe for us to get into our room at 11pm for when we arrived which was amazing for us. There was sugar, milk, tea and coffee, plenty of towels, hand soap, and toilet roll. Thank you.”

“Lovley warm welcome from landlady, we stayed in the down stairs apartment which was spacious, spotless & well catered for. The Landlord & Lady made our stay welcoming, friendly & we were grateful they took time to tell us the story of the pub, thank you. Fantastic views from the fround of the pub, the live music put on by the local Musicians was a wonderful surprise on Thursday. The food was great, recommend the home cooked pies, the steak & ale which was filled to the brim with big chunks of steak, came with big dish of buttered vegetables on the side which were so good we had them again the next evening. Highly recommend.”
