Compact ( but perfectly adequate ) en suite.

Perfect small property within walking distance of the railway station. Loved the refrigerator and tea making facilities in the room. Comfy bed. Quiet area. Very reasonable rate.

There is nothing not to like.

The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful upon our arrival and we were made to feel very welcome. Their home was just so lovely and our room was beautiful. We were only there for 1 night but the location was central to the town with everything in a short walking distance. Our hosts took great care in advising us the local amenities. Thank you for making our stay so good, we would thoroughly recommend Chorley Road.

The room was warm, spacious and located at the back of the property away from the noise of the road. There was parking for both my car and my partner's car. The host was very welcoming. The shower was hot and plenty of toiletries to try.

The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The place is near a morrison and the room was comfortable. It is an ensuite and the room as a small mini fridge if you have something to needs to chill.

This was a great experience.Simon and Julita run their little guest house more like a 5* hotel. It ticks all the boxes.Thay are also a lovely couple. We loved our room.The bed was great and also the nice big powerful shower.And everything clean clean clean. We are looking forward to staying there again if in the area.

Another fantastic stay! The rooms are nicely decorated, with all the facilities you could ask for and a very comfortable bed. What really makes this property though is Simon and Julita who are two of the nicest hosts you could ever ask for! They treat all guests like friends and are genuinely two of the most lovely people I have ever met! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I was allowed to use the microwave for my food. I am quite full up with a rotten cold and the owner gave me some throat sweets which was kind and very helpful The room was lovely and had an ensuite.

Virtually nothing but if you insist that I am super-petty and dig deep into my inner laziness, then it was the very minor necessity of needing to get out of bed to turn off the main room light at night. There were two adjustable bedside lights that most people would find perfectly sufficient for just about everything. This tiny annoyance I hope demonstrates how happy I was with everything else. It is definitely not something the owners should worry about or spend any money on.

On arrival, I found the staff to be very friendly and professional and focussed on providing a good service. I felt genuinely welcome in their property, and that positivity and great service ethic continued for the six nights of my visit. My bedroom and ensuite shower/toilet were both very clean and bright, everything felt fresh and was clearly maintained to a very high standard. Nothing felt 'tired'. My double bed was very comfortable and plenty big enough for someone of my considerable height - nearly 6 foot 6. It might seem a silly extra, but I was most impressed that the bedroom had a small fridge. I travel - a lot - this is rare. I was doing some writing during my visit, and the internet was great, and the bed was perfect for starting on this work in the morning without needing to get up.
