“Amazing little hotel. Away from the most trafficked streets therefore very quiet. Still a few steps away from everything (Pingyao is small but it might get very busy in the evening). The owner speaks very good English and he is super helpful. He will give you all the info on where to go, and eat and the best deals! The room was a good size. “Beautiful accommodation at the centre of ancient city of Pingyao in the bustling South Street. The owner and staff are very friendly, warm and helpful. They picked us up from the station and brought us to Ancient City (cars are not allowed inside) and also brought us on the day of departure, both for very reasonable fees, because we were with 5, too many for a taxi.
The hotel and rooms were in a traditional style, allowing for great pictures.The beds and cushions were very comfortable for us. The bathroom and toilet are combined in a small room, but it wasn't bothersome.The owner knows the nearby shops and good spots to go to, definitely ask for tips.
