  • “They had a private locked room to store my bike.”

  • “We had a family room which had very comfortable beds and great sheets; en suite had a good shower and there was plenty of space to move around in the bathroom; friendly staff who were always smiling; a standard continental breakfast however the marmalade was homemade and was exceptional. With its great location I would recommend this hotel.”

  • “Great location (five minute walk from train station, maybe 10 minutes to the old town), quiet, comfortable.”

  • “Disaster, for a 4 star hotel, never sgain.”

  • Hotel Mercure Rennes Cesson Review score: 7

“Once inside the welcome is warm. The bar is really not worth mentioning but the restaurant is amazing. One of us is coeliac [gluten intolerant] and for once in our lives they were well aware of the issues and able to provide great food and great service. If staying here I highly recommend you eat dinner here.”

  • Résidence Little Sévigné Review score: 8

“The apartment was tiny but had everything i needed. I had to stop in Rennes for one night while travelling from another part of Bretagne back to Germany, so i really appreciated the proximity to the train station. It's definitely ok for one night.”

  • Kyriad Rennes Nord Hotel Review score: 10

“Staff so friendly ,so helpful nothing a problem excellent overnight stay”

  • Hotel Arcantis Le Voltaire Review score: 8

“Very comfortable room, small but enough for us. The bed was very comfy and the hotel really quiet so we had a good nigh of sleep. Easy check in. Very peculiar decorations but we liked it. Free parking on site, very handy as we were doing a roadtrip. There's not much on the surrounding area, took us 30min walking to get to the center but it's a nice walk. WI Fi worked well.”

  • Château D'Apigné Rennes Review score: 7

“1. I arrived a little early and was initially turned away. However Matilde 'rescued' the situation and went out of her way to ensure my pleasant stay. 2.I arrived on a Monday, so the Gastronomique experience was limited due to the restaurant being closed! However Astrid 'rescued' this deficiency by reserving me a table at a (fairly) nearby restaurant, arranging a taxi. 3. The actual structure and grounds are amazing, esp. when the sun shines! 4. The room/suite was really top standard, esp. the views of the grounds and countryside. 5. The breakfast is in the top quartile. Fabulous. 6. Afternoon tea on the terrace is a truly exceptional experience.”
