Gaia Residence Deluxe Review score: 10

“The Gaia hotel is managed under an Italian Dominican couple. For us it was one of the best hotels we met here. Everything was super clean. Here you can see and notice the influence of European style and leadership. The junior suite was really great. The whole building is modern and stylishly furnished. It is located in a quiet and safe area in Puerto Plata. The room girls are absolutely great and do a perfect job. Breakfast was prepared every day with love and passion. There are also shops nearby. We can unconditionally recommend this wonderful hotel to everyone. We will come here again to this beautiful place of peace and coziness. Thank you Marina and Donino and the whole team for a few wonderful days.”

“Janine was an extremely nice host! The room was spacious and very cute - we loved the canopy beds with the mosquito nets. The bathroom was also very nice. The best thing about the house was it's location, just on the other side of the road from the beach and just next to plenty of restaurants and bars (Punta Rucia style of course, nothing too fancy). The breakfasts at the beach were very good.”

“The room was comfortable and quiet. Nikki is a lovely host. Breakfast was great. We were only there for 12 hours - a last minute, emergency booking - but it was the perfect place to decompress a little and relax.”
