“The hotel and food were excellent but wish the bar had been open longer as when we left the pub we thought we could have drink in the hitel bar but it shut. We took a drink back up to our room.”

The Annex is fit for purpose. Although not particularly spacious, it has all the facilities one can need eg decent kitchenette including toaster, kettle, powerful hob, digital oven and well stocked pots and pans.
The hot tub was the highlight of our stay - particularly after long days of hiking, it was a dream to come back to. Clean, powerful jets and beautiful lighting all of which created a lovely ambience. This was topped with a luscious garden by the lake, swings and garden furniture perfect for morning breakfast or an afternoon tea as the river flows by.
