“I liked my "turquoise" room (suite) and the location of the hostel. It is just off the main road between the falls, the bird park, the airport and the city center. Bus 120 gets you to any of these locations for 5 Reais per ride. There are a few food places and smaller stores nearby including a supermarket but for anything more serious, you might want to go into town.
The layout of the hostel is convenient, the 3 or 4 suites are all next to the pool area, the reception and the kitchen where the morning breakfast buffet is served ... nothing too elaborate but it will get you started.
The staff is helpful although after arriving it took me some insisting to get a broken lightbulb fixed and the remote control for the a/c changed.
The room was decent, good lighting and the shower was hot although the water pressure is a bit weak.”
