“Location is reasonably convenient for the centre of town. The hotel is very dated and with the exception of the bar there seems very little enthusiasm from the staff.
No room service was offered for stays of less than 4 days and even then only after 2 days.
Basic facilities in both rooms and hotel as a whole.
Buffet breakfast was acceptable but not of particularly good quality.
Overall, until the hotel has a makeover and is better managed I feel there are much better places to stay in Halifax for the price paid.”
“Check-in was great we had to check-in early, and the room was ready. It was our first time traveling to Halifax, and I think we were lucky to get such a great location. We could walk to many of our needs”

“This is a hostel type accommodation, the rooms are very small with shared bathrooms (no sink no shower no toilet in the rooms). That being said, the common spaces are really well equipped, nicely renovated, very clean and the whole feel of the place is nice and friendly and the location is outstanding. Depending on what do you want/need, this can be a great base to discover the city and cook your own meals.”
