  • Aberdunant Hall Review score: 8

“Cabana was good and spacious but the two futon beds on the high staging were not designed for adults. As you had to climb a ladder to get to the beds I did not feel that they were safe for children as it would have been easy for a child to fall from the balcony to the floor about 2.25metres high. I cannot see how they passed a safety inspection. Otherwise very well appointed. Site is in a beautiful location with waterfalls and walks”

  • Basecamp Wales Review score: 9

“Stayed many times before and will keep coming back as Tim, Tom do fantastic looking after the place and are very friendly and helpful with any queries. Treated myself to 'en suite' this time and very comfortable double (bunk) bed. I always choose outside school holidays as is quieter, and was also blessed with a week of dry weather.”

  • Tynedale Hotel Review score: 10

“Very good, however I think the sausages were a little tough. The bacon was a little salty , if the aforesaid parts of the breakfast could be rectified then I would say 10 out of 10”
