“Our room on the 7th floor facing the sea was lovely, couldn't get a nicer view! it is quirky with the shower and toilet in glass cubicles. Clean bedding, ok towels, mini fridge, tea, coffee and water in the room. Comfortable bed.
Roof top infinity pool was lovely. good location.”
“We stayed for one month and absolutely loved this place. It’s just a two-minute walk to the beach, where we often enjoyed both sunrise and the magical sunset (the water is warm and perfect for swimming). The pool is amazing as well.
Yen is the heart of this place—so welcoming and kind. She helped us with tour bookings, directions, and any questions we had. Chiang, who is new to Vela, was also very friendly, and it was a pleasure greeting the staff every morning on our way to breakfast.
A major highlight for me was the motorbike rental. The bike was in excellent condition, unlike my experiences at other places in Vietnam. I drove it daily for a month without any issues. We will truly miss this lovely place.

“A lovely place to stay. The hotel has nice rooms that are a good size with balconies. It is excellent value for money. The pools are less than a minutes walk and the beach a 2 minute walk and there are a few places around for food and drink. The staff are friendly and the owner goes out of his way to make sure you have what you need. Nothing is too much trouble for him. The area itself is very quiet but that was what I wanted as I had been travelling and needed rest and relaxing. There are multiple transport options to see other parts of the island if needed.”
