“The breakfast was about the same as any other continental breakfast which was served at other hotels we stayed at on our trip. No better, no worse. The room was neat and tidy and roomier than some we stayed at.”

“Wonderful kind and helpful front desk receptionist on check in. Accommodated our pet, clean, large rooms. We got in a bit later and were able to get dinner at the Viking close by. Go to this restaurant, the women who work and run it and cook there are amazing, funny and so nice. Was a restful stop. Also great onsite parking for our large Uhaul which was nice.”
“The location was fantastic for going into town or to areas we wanted to see in LSPP and some local water falls, High Falls and Silver Falls (fun to sit and do plein air painting and sketching at). The Thrift Barn in town was also awesome, it even had fresh local veggies. The motel itself was tranquil and enjoyable. The room was fresh and clean, not run down or in need of an update. The bed was comfortable and we experienced fairly good nights' sleeps considering that can be rare in motels and hotels.
The motel staff was fantastic, very accommodating and helpful.
Our in room facilities and amenities were fine for what we needed. We loved that we could use an onsite BBQ for making dinners.

“I have stayed in this hotel many times. This time I stayed in room 519 which is a two room suite with a large spa bath in a separate room as well. This room overlooks the harbour, sleeping giant, and the marina on Lake Superior. The view at night was just gorgeous. They have improved their dinner menu and the food now is very good and well priced. Breakfast was also excellent -- of course both come with quite the view.”
“The ramp to our second-floor room was a surprise, but so much better than stairs! We were also surprised to be directed from the main lobby to another building, but it was quiet and farther from the road, so actually a very good location.”
