The 2 exclusive terraces are great places for a drink or meal.
Marta was extremely helpful, providing a missing item immediately and going to great trouble in arranging a cab to the airport when traffic problems occurred in town.

“The location was perfect for us. We were worried from Google Streetview that the Paradise Bar in front would disturb us but as were behind it there was no problem and we still had lovely views out to the sea and the beach. with a short really enjoyable stroll to the town centre and harbour but far enough away so as to avoid the crowds. The beach was never too crowded and the swimming was very enjoyable. As keen walkers we especially liked the fact that right adjoining the property there is a pedestrian walk way up the hill and from there you are connected to the network of paths across the peninsula. Francesco recommended to us using the ferry to get to the Cinqueterre and the walk back from Riomaggiore to Portovenere was long but really worthwhile especially the spectacular clifftop views as you get back close to Portovenere. We will be back as there is still lots more for us to explore.”
